Subject: “Those Almost Immediately Eligible” — Part Two.

(Having finally solved a difficult problem, George is visibly happy about it, but it’s rather late . . . again.)
Bzutu: “Now would be the time to contemplate how you would feel if you had a real brain, rather than just good luck.”
(subdued laughter — there are others already asleep here).
The Scribe: “The lateness of the hour and your wandering mind made me cut short our discussion before, my dear friend. This is the Damascus Scribe who bestows upon you his love and admiration here and for all time in our local universe, yes, and even into the eternity realm of Paradise.
“The fact that Midwayers — indeed all Midwayers, Primary and Secondary — have no Thought Adjusters allows you to more clearly understand that they can only be brothers and sisters insofar as you all have the same Parents — Michael and Nebadonia.
“The Midwayers are two different species. The Primary Midwayers are related to the Planetary Prince’s servants. Adamson and his Nodite wife, Ratta, were the grandparents to the “Spirit Guardian” friends of your youth. However, neither are indwelt by Thought Adjusters, although both species frequently work closely with both Angels and Adjusters.
“However long it takes for any evolutionary world to attain Light and Life, fusion for Midwayers is on hold. And so it goes for Life Carriers, Melchizedeks and countless others you do not yet know, even your Celestial Engineer, brother Isaac. It will often be reported that the Angels are envious of your kind, perhaps even outright jealous, but would any of them enjoy having to function with a mind 100 percent dependent on a electro-chemical brain? Not likely, and furthermore, would they enjoy serving the two earthly masters — their physical as well as their spiritual needs?
“Human beings live short, intensive lives and would fare badly without an Adjuster, even if many are hardly aware of the Godsent Helper. Morontial beings generally have easier lives while their lives before fusion can be thousands, yes, millions of years in duration.
“It’s all right to wish to be in another’s shoes, or ‘sport another’s wings,’ so to speak, but how many would question the Eternal Father’s decision to grant anyone the gift of life of one kind or another? I am the Damascus Scribe. Goodnight to all.”

Subject: “Clothe the Self in Life Immortal.”

The Beloved: “My child, come into the Stillness of your heart and allow Me to embrace you, so you will know that you are forever cared for, and held in the eternal embrace of the ultimate Creator.
He, who holds the blueprint of your life in His Being, should He not also love you? I know whereof I speak, for I am a tiny Fragment of this Being, and I hold your eternal future development within Me. Therefore, come to Me, so I can flow My love into you.
On your part, you are to develop a greater faith and trust in Me that I am real. I am more real than the outer material world, which merely represents a fleeting shadow in your earth-life.
The only thing that is truly lasting is love, true love bestowed by one upon another. The fruits of the spirit are forever lasting. Live and practice them, so they become embedded into your heart, soul and mind, so they become a part of your character in your progress to become a spiritual being.
Your earth-life is only a fleeting moment in eternity. Therefore, the more conscious and aware you become, and the more you listen to My voice, the sooner you bring heaven to earth.
When heaven takes a hold in the human heart, that heart learns to follow the distant drum that beckons it increasingly to greater heights of attainment. The joys of heaven can already begin to manifest in the earth-life when a mortal, by personal choice, consistently chooses to do the will of God. In doing God’s will during mortal life, the human begins to clothe the self in life immortal.
Remember always, that the will of God is the way with the most love in it. Practice this way, and travel on this lowly ground into life everlasting. I am your distant drummer, listen and march to My beat.”

Subject: “If You Think You Don’t Matter, Think Again!”

“The love of the Father absolutely individualizes each personality as a unique child of the Universal Father, a child without duplicate in infinity, a will creature irreplaceable in all eternity.” [UB, 12:7.9]
Thought Adjuster: “You viscerally recognize the validity of this statement when you have to bid a tearful farewell to a loved one. Your aching heart bears witness to the permanence of the special bond you have with that individual.
It can also give you a glimpse of how dearly the Father holds you in His heart—never to let go of you. The universe protects its assets. It may recycle some but will never deem as superfluous anything of value.
The infinite associations of personality endowments should tell you that you are not a generic being — even though you belong to a well-identified species. The fact that the snowflakes Designer painstakingly encrypts subliminal messages in each of His magnificent but meltable artworks bears witness that each one of His immaculate conceptions is a love child.
Heat-sensitive snowflakes eventually return to the liquid state from which they originated. Just the same, the constitutive elements of your material self will return to stardust. Still, their eternal counterparts will undergo more divinely orchestrated metamorphoses that will weave the rich threads of your personality into the texture of your evolving soul. Your infancy as an earthbound caterpillar will end, and your brand-new wings will lift you to higher experiential planes.
The divine life force that animates your personality makes it immortal because it was conceived out of love and for love — the blissful apex of all emotional states. Therefore, the assurance that the Father is tightly emotionally attached to you should boost your spirits and give you the stamina to co-create in love and light, living up to His wishful thinking and intentional doing.”

Thought Adjuster: “For this world to move closer to an age of light and life a great change must occur in the spirituality of its population. This will not be a quick change, since it requires that each human being feels the motivation to be better and to be more like God. Many are distracted by the things of the material world, but the Father and His Agents have not stopped working for them and sooner or later every one of you will have the opportunity to look within and decide about your destiny.
Change imposed by force and in violation of human free will can never last. This was the error of Lucifer and Caligastia – to offer a freedom for which the population of Urantia was not prepared. The only possible outcome was confusion, anarchy, and complete regression to the starting point, from which natural social evolution took over. In the end, this effort to artificially accelerate progress resulted in a delay instead, an obstacle to evolution, which is the only process able to produce sustainable development that can result in an advanced civilization.
In this world there have been many scientific and philosophical advances, but a great percentage of the population still lives in a way comparable to the primitive ages of your civilization. Some nations enjoy disproportionate wealth and abundance, while the rest live almost in the stone age, where people have not enough to satisfy their most basic survival needs. A world in these conditions is not prepared for global spiritual enlightenment.
Those who have had the fortune to perceive a glimmer of truth should live their lives as living illustrations of that truth and as the representatives of the Father on earth, because they truly are. Offer to your less favored siblings the light you have discovered and walk together toward a new age of spiritual elevation, where each human being will enjoy their rights as a child of God and will gladly fulfill their responsibilities as universal citizens. Offer to those who need it the most the tools to overcome their limitations and to seek perfection of being. For your celestials overseers there is no task more noble or celebrated than bringing a lost sibling toward the light, because each soul gained for the Kingdom is a potential finalist that will be a benefit for the universes of eternity.”

The Beloved: “The potentials are inherent in My being – the still Voice you hear. I carry all possibilities for your future development within Me. As a Fragment of God, which indwells all human beings of will and the power to choose life eternal, I am also the personification of God.
It therefore follows that when you pay more attention to My Voice and My leadings, you will slowly be made into the image of God. Ponder this for a moment as to what this will be like.
In time, you will come to realize how much more you long for My presence with a greater conscious awareness, as I am all love, all peace, all healing, completely non-judgmental, and so much more.
When your human self ‘falls by the wayside,’ because of a thoughtless, hasty act or word from self or others, you will realize anew how much valuable time is wasted with nonsense, and you hurry back into the Stillness to gather yourself together.
My beloved, I am a being of great experience, and it is My desire to share My all with you.
At this time, the one attribute you need the most is My assurance that I am patiently waiting to give you My great love and nurturing presence, for you to carry on, on this earth plane beset with uncertainties, in order for you to so live as in the presence of God. To master your mistakes, your disappointments, and to clear all hurdles.
Through trials, errors and experiences in overcoming, you will steadily and surely enter into the joy of getting to know Me better, listen more, and increase your determination to follow My lead into a greater freedom and joy ‘unspeakable.’
Such is our eternal future – one of discovery and joy.”
