Thought Adjuster: “How can we keep our balance in a changing world? Many people have seen their faith vanish when the discoveries of science demonstrate that many of the things that they believed in are actually false. These disillusions produce a sensation of abandonment and sometimes rob us of the certainty we thought we had about our destiny. However, science and true religion do not have to be opposites. It is possible to live a religious life that survives science’s revelations of the mysteries of physical reality.
The problem is that people often base their faith on legends and the supernatural occurrences of the traditions of their respective religions. Similarly, a lot of what is considered spirituality is equally based on fantasies that are nothing but the inventions of some minds that are overly creative, albeit well-intentioned. When these believers are faced with the fact that their beliefs are evidently false, the weak foundations of their faith crumble and they face the choice of either starting over or leaving behind their spiritual investigations, opting often for the latter alternative.
I propose that you establish stronger foundations for your faith. Do not put all the scaffolding of your personal religion on stories and events you have not experienced personally. Consider as the fundamental truth the fact that there is a God that is your Father and that His presence is within you. This is all you need to guide yourself on your journey of spiritual exploration. Do not place too much trust in spiritual teachers, gurus, legends of the past, or sacred books. Just deposit your trust in your own experience when trying to make contact with the living presence of the Father within you.
The contact with the presence of God is unlike the contact with another person. This presence is a part of you and you cannot talk to yourself as if you were a stranger. Instead, search within your mind the answers you need and try to find the highest expressions of truth, beauty, and goodness, in your thoughts and your actions. Learning to think this way will allow you to start tapping into the wisdom that is already within you, something that many have not learned to access yet. This is learning to think independently, when you discover that the truths you need to guide your life toward progressive perfection can be found inside you. With practice you will see that using your mind for the purpose it was given to you – as the playground where you build your own reality – you can really connect to something beyond yourself. It is this spiritual presence that elevates a human being and motivates her to be better every day, getting increasingly closer to the realm of self-mastery and perfection of being.”

Thought Adjuster: “Fear and love are not compatible. Period. Fear keeps everyone at bay, triggering traumatic flight or fright situations. It slams the door shut to any peace negotiations. On the other end, love is a tropical safety zone with an open-door policy — a sanctuary city.
From that perspective, you will never know the Father of All-That-Is if you approach Him with fear in your heart. How could you trust someone you fear? How could you wish to be close? It goes again the grain of love-in-action.
“Man might fear a great God, but he trusts and loves only a good God.” [UB 2:6.1]
To find your way to God’s infinite heart, you need to dump the heavy weight of unfounded fear. Trust is the gateway to love.
Because of the hard knocks of planetary living, many of you display many battle scars that make you hesitant to take emotional chances.
Just as a little squirrel would love to approach you and eat out of your inviting hand, it won’t happen until you prove yourself trustworthy, as she will skedaddle upon any abrupt movement on your part. Yet you will overcome her hesitation if you remain grounded in peace at each one of your daily dates, thus earning her trust. She will then relax in your company and may even express her timid little self, playing hide and seek with you, thus taking your relationship to its next happy level.
Such is the world you live in. Everything that triggers instinctive fearful reflexes has to be disarmed once and for all allowing the ardent fire of love to sweep the planet, reclaiming it as a safe place of love and light, where every soul can come out of its self-build bunker of protection and start roaming free in the wide-open public spaces adorned with divine truth, beauty, and goodness.”

Andréa: “It is good to at long last see you take the handbrake off of your tongue, and for your mind to get my ‘Hello George and Participant’ in this stillness exercise. The number of Celestial Teachers and Celestial Advisors; the Workers in our realm, has gone up ‘incredibly’. The steepest of your J-curve plottings would not do justice to the rapidly increasing number of us that are now engaged in spiritizing this world.
“And yet, we are busy beyond belief. And yet . . . we are functioning each Urantia day for long hours. And yet . . . we are so very busy.
“And yet, I have for days rung the bell and waved my banner to attract your attention, and I thank you once again, after a long drought, to be given your time. This is Primary Midwayer Andréa visiting a very old and a very new friend.
“My message on this day is short and to the point, as all messages should be. They must be short because we are ‘Progress’. We tend to act precisely according to what it is we are told to do. The message is simple and this for the reason that we want to get our advice, our instructions, if you like, to come through without any complication, without any delay, without any misunderstanding.
“My message to you is uncomplicated in the sense that I’m asking you, and all those who will take the time to read this message going out to so very many, to each day find another person to whom you can speak, whom you can admire for something, whom you can love just for being a sibling – one person each day. Subject: “You Are Not of This World.”

The Beloved: “My child, many times I have told you that love, praise and gratitude are the keys to the Kingdom. Now I add to this that in living closer to Me throughout your days, you shall also partake of My Divinity, which resides within you.
You will grow into becoming the example the Master Jesus has set before you. He said, “I am the Vine and you are the branches, therefore, the life-sap which flows through me, also flows through you.”
Therefore, divinity already flows through you, albeit unrealized by you right now. Yet, the more you pay attention to the spirit within, and the less consideration you give to the things of the world, the more you will take on My divine attributes.
In this manner you will become more loving, patient, humble and resilient. You will also gain in courage to take note of and follow My leadings.
The Master also said, “You are in this world, but you are not of this world.”
By your free will decisions, and in your coming to Me on a regular basis, you are preparing yourself to be used by Me, which to Me is joyful.
The more I can impart to you in this mortal life, the more you will live to grow to become like Me. And this is our ultimate goal.”

Ophelius: “Today’s lesson is about recognizing and acting on your intuition; that knowing that comes from deep within. It is through this ‘quiet knowing’ – which the Indwelling Spirit and your guides use to whisper and point the way – that you may grow in wisdom through the experiences of living and the making of right choices. How many times have you said, ‘If only I had listened to my intuition,’ or ‘I should have gone with my first thought?’
“Many times are you influenced by spirit to take a course of action that will lead to progress and growth, and yet these leadings are not always perceived by you as beneficial to your temporal wants and needs, and still, most often do they add value to your future life in preparation for the next phase of your universe career. All too often the leadings of spirit get lost in the mind chatter of daily life from the over-dependence on societal programming and media overload. Intuition is that ‘nudge’ or a ‘knocking on the door’ of the human heart that requires a more introspective examination by the mind to listen and become aware of spiritual leadings.
“Learn to quieten the mind at a moments notice when you hear the knocking of intuition, then follow your feelings. There is a subtle difference between following feelings and acting on impulsive thoughts. Learn to discern the difference my beloveds. Act in accordance with the values of truth, beauty, and goodness; and know that your decisions will cause no harm to others, or be of selfish intent.
“As the soul grows the mind continues to evolve in pattern with the Morontia mind, which is ever responsive to Adjuster attunement. This attunement with the Father fragment allows for greater communication and ‘hearing’ of the Indwelling Spirit’s leadings, and therefore will you have more confidence in your intuitive interpretations. It is this perpetual handshake of hearing, feeling, and doing that feeds the soul and attunes the mind that brings us ever closer to perfection attainment. Let us therefore clear the mind from the chatter of worldly static, and listen with the heart, so we may walk in the righteous path of the Father’s will for our lives.
