Teacher Ophelius: “Today, dear students on the path, we would like to speak with you about the benefits of connecting to the mind of Christ Michael — the Creator Son of our local universe. Each of you has the ability to actually make this connection and to benefit from the sense of love, peace, and well-being associated with a Master Creator Son. This mind circuit is freely available to you as the children of this divine parent of the local universe. He welcomes and delights in your willingness to contact His mind so He may share His peace which surpasses all human understanding. ‘My peace be with you.’
“This is a personal mind-to-mind connection and is not to be confused with Christ’s Spirit of Truth that was made available to all human minds on Urantia on the day of Pentecost more than two thousand years ago. The Spirit of Truth is a circuit of the Father-Son and works through the human mind in contact with the Thought Adjuster to ‘bear witness to your spirit’ those things that are of truth, beauty, and goodness — the way of spiritual progress.
“To connect with the mind of Christ Michael brings your mind in contact with that part of His mind that is contactable by the human mind circuit. As you begin to use more of your morontial mind/cosmic soul mind, you shall begin to tap into that part of His mind that is often referred to as ‘Christ Consciousness.’ This is the attitude of all divine and spiritual thought. To gain access to this place requires that you raise your thought vibrations to a level above material concerns and condition them with love, gratitude, and compassion for the family of humanity. Since Christ Michael has such love and compassion for all His children, you also must condition your thoughts in this way to open the divine gateway to Christ Consciousness.
“A regular practice of sitting alone in solace with His Spirit will expand your human mind into greater areas of cosmic mind, giving you personal insights into healing and growing your relationship with Spirit which leads to personality maturity and Thought Adjuster attunement. In the words of Jesus when he walked in the flesh: ‘...I am the way and the truth and the life.’ ‘No one comes to the Father except through me.’ This often misunderstood statement refers to the attunement process — that through contact with Christ’s Spirit of Truth and with His personality/mind circuit you gain greater access (assimilation and communication) to the Father Fragment within your own mind which opens the treasures of mind potential and the way of ascension.
“Any human of any race, culture, or religion that sets his or her mind to love, gratitude, and compassion for the family of humanity (unity), has access to Christ Consciousness, for this is the way, the truth, and the life which leads to Adjuster Fusion. Any thoughts of separation or exclusivity of beliefs bars access to Christ Consciousness because ‘the truth is not in them.’
“My friends, simply ask your Thought Adjuster to connect you with the mind of Christ and open your thoughts to this ‘way of truth and life’ in unity with the whole and drink from the fountain of living water which is in the Christ Consciousness. Spending time and energy in this way of thinking and being will bring you into closer attunement with your Indwelling Spirit.

Thought Adjuster: “Those who begin to attempt likeness to the Father cannot help but start to know Him better. Only when you really want to learn something will your capacity for observation and learning function more effectively. When you want to achieve likeness to God, you study Him and you wish to learn more about His divinity, His personality, and His way of thinking. This helps you to understand and know Him better. As you can see, the journey to perfection is also the path that will bring you closer to God. When you strive to improve yourself, you open your mind to a fuller revelation of the Creator.
How can you determine the degree of harmony you have achieved with the will of the Father? The most beautiful, complete and filled with goodness is the ideal of God that you hold in your mind, the closer you are to comprehending him, and the more advanced will be your progress in the task to become like Him. You cannot imitate what you don’t know and you cannot admire what you don’t understand. A true love toward the Father is only possible for those who know Him and those who have first experienced His love. The love of the Father toward His children is the precursor of the love of the creatures toward their celestial Father. He has loved us first so we can discover Him and reciprocate His love.
As you progress in your knowledge of God because of your desire to be better, you will get to know without a doubt when your decisions and actions have been made considering your highest ideals. In truth, many among you justify the most unreasonable actions, arguing that it is ‘the will of God’, as it is often seen in religious extremism. However, even these confused human beings are taking a step forward toward perfection when they make their decisions by appealing to the highest and most beautiful ideals that they are able to conceive. Every person who sincerely desires to know the Father and become a better human being will achieve it, regardless of how low their initial spiritual level may be.
The place you are born, your physical or mental capacity, your culture, or the religion you inherit, are not the main promoters of your advancement in the struggle to reach perfection. Only your desire to be better and overcome your limitations, searching within for truth, beauty, and goodness, can lead you in the end toward the divine presence. All the disadvantages in this world are only temporary delays that are irrelevant to the Father. Once you have expressed the desire to be better in your soul this becomes a fact for the Father and therefore you receive everything you need to achieve this sublime goal. It is a divine right that nobody – except yourself – can take away from you.
If in your heart you have manifested this purpose of becoming better every day, you can be sure that your Father has moved closer to you and is working to spiritualize your thoughts, so some day your soul will be another expression of divine goodness, beauty, and truth. Your job from now on is to make decisions by raising your will increasingly closer to the divine will, and every effort in this regard will bring you closer to the Father.”

Subject: Your Diligence in Seeking Me.

The Beloved: In times to come your listening skills will improve, so that you will know without any doubt that, yes, this still Voice within you can also be heard above the din of the world, although this will only happen when you have your ear attuned to My calling.
The point is that whenever you seek My presence in the Stillness, you are ever so slightly fine-tuning that ability to hear that distant echo from heaven within.
There is an effort involved on your part, because there are many distractions that clamor for your attention and lure you away from Me.
The only time when I can get through to you, is when you give Me your undivided attention and when you let nothing intrude upon your thoughts.
The best thing to do is to first prepare yourself so that nothing in the outer world can disturb you. Of course, there are the normal noises of everyday life, which you can learn to ignore by your intent to visualize a shield all around you, so you will be sitting in your private space.
The next thing to do is to prayerfully ask for Me Help. This helps in molding your attitude towards Me.
Next, be sincere and truthful in wanting to have your communion with Me, for indeed you have then entered reverently into your holy of holies, and you are then on sacred ground.
My beloved, your diligence in seeking Me at the same time each day, means to Me that you take your wanting to be with Me seriously, and it shows Me that I am considered to be worthy of your love and attention.
And that, My child, is the true reciprocation between student and Teacher.

“Verily, verily, I say to you, when the Father’s will is your law, you are hardly in the kingdom. But when the Father’s will becomes truly your will, then are you in very truth in the kingdom because the kingdom has thereby become an established experience in you.” [UB, 141:2.2]
Thought Adjuster: “Never forget that Jesus’ gospel was foremost a way of living—not merely a religious philosophy—therefore, its transformative practicability.
Speaking of transformation, abiding by its enacted laws may protect society from criminality; however, it does not facilitate the heart expansion of those who comply. Fear of punishment stifles the spirit.
Jesus did not come to uplift the law but fulfill it—the universal divine law being love-in-action. It boils down to treating others as you want to be treated, which implies taking recommendable actions that yield the fruits of the spirit. It is a far cry from merely going through the religious motions in a self-centered way, intent on reaping the divine favor—something that Jesus pointed out in his parable of the Pharisee and the Publican.
The onset of the promised 'kingdom’ did not occur as predicted—a sobering realization for many. The Father’s ways are not dictatorial but inspirational. Blind allegiance cannot yield a joyful environment. When fear is part of the equation, hearts hold back.
Your tipping point occurs when you make the free-will and wholehearted decision to implement the Father’s loving ways in your life. It is how you eventuate his will through inspired initiatives. No one can ever deprive you of this exalting conversion experience, as it becomes an integral part of who you are.”

Thought Adjuster: “The most interesting and inspiring thing about the life of Jesus is not its most spectacular events. His life is not great because of the glory he gained in the eyes of his contemporaries, nor because of the honors some wanted to confer Him. His life is not great because of the novel ideas he introduced to the world, nor because of the miraculous works he performed.
The life of Jesus is inspiring because He lived it subjected at all times to the will of His Father, as it has been revealed to His mortal mind by His Thought Adjuster (TA). He always strove to become like this ideal-model of the Celestial Father. This was his goal and this is what all of us can do as well.
All human beings can count on the Divine Presence of the Father to guide them. This Presence helps them to build an image of God in their minds and motivates them to be better. It is the Thought Adjuster who reveals the Father and it is you, through your decisions, who can choose to worship this model – strive to become like Him – or ignore this spiritual impulse.
The greatest achievement of a mortal life is self-mastery. This is the dominion of the human mind in order to harmonize it with the divine mind of the TA. It is effectively choosing at all times to follow the higher impulses of the path of love. It is raising your thoughts in such a way that only truth, beauty, and goodness are expressed through your mind. It is when the effort to be better becomes the habit of choosing the path of spirit.
In other words, you will have reached success in life when you become the best you can aspire to be – a being so filled with light and love that can only be described as in the likeness of God. This achievement is a daily exercise, an effort where all elections, decisions, and actions are made with the purpose of expressing perfection. This is how you learn in this life, practicing to be like the Father. This daily effort will open your mind to receive progressive revelations of truth and understand better the Father and His creation. How long have you been searching for answers out there without suspecting that all you need is already within! It is in the effort to improve yourself where you will find the path to the Father and your true purpose.”
