Thought Adjuster: “A sincere interest in your peers is the key to understanding them better. You are amazed by the ability Jesus had to perceive exactly the root of the problem in the lives of many who crossed his path. This perception was an impression transmitted by his Thought Adjuster, an Adjuster just like the ones within every human being in this planet, but this perception found a firm anchor in his mortal mind only because of the interest that Jesus had for his peers – his sincere love for human beings.
Similarly, you can slowly develop this ability to ‘look in the hearts of your siblings’. All of you have this ability in varying degrees and may experience some moments of clarity in which you understand the motivations and perceive the thoughts of those you love. Human parents often know when something is worrying or hurting their children, even when these children have not mentioned anything about it to them.
As you grow in spirit and discover the Father in your heart, you start experiencing His love and this love will overflow your being in such a way that it will extend spontaneously to your peers. The most precise measure of spiritual growth and the degree to which you have found the Father lies in the quality of your love for your peers. When you start to feel that all beings are your siblings and that their welfare is also your welfare, then you will know that the love of the Father has taken over your being and you are one step closer in your journey to be like Him.
It is good to make an effort to understand those around you, but true fraternity is only possible through spiritual enlightenment. It is of no use trying to force affection for your peers. First, work on yourself, do everything you can to come closer to God and search within for the path that your Thought Adjuster has already drawn to achieve perfection. Only when the desire to be like God is established in your heart will the transformation to become what the Father desires to express through your existence begin, and in this way the divine love will be expressed through your being.”

Thought Adjuster: “In a perfect world, love leads two individuals to form a partnership — the building block of a good family. The only right the Father confers to each spouse is to love and cherish their mate, thus creating a favorable environment for the next generation of eternal souls.
Sadly, partners butt heads in many relationships. They weaponize their words, criticize or misunderstand their mate, and self-righteously mete out physical or emotional punishment — a far cry from fulfilling their fiduciary duties.
All human relationships should include the element of trust, as the Father entrusts you to be his agent of love-in-action — acting in his stead as a visible and tangible receiver/transmitter of T.L.C. (Tender Loving Care).
Jesus intervened on behalf of women’s rights whenever he witnessed first-hand some form of spousal abuse. Even though he was a male of the realm, he set a clear precedent by promoting, respecting, and honoring the place women should hold in any functional society.
Because marriage is an equal opportunity for the circulation of true love, it is a balancing act. Successful partnerships focus on the attractive traits of their partner, making compassionate allowances for their unavoidable shortcomings.
Goodwill is also a prerequisite for a working relationship — never ill will. The low-grade fossil fuels composed of festering resentment and decayed grudges are highly volatile and unable to restore peace. Judicious time-outs work wonders in clearing your head and protecting endangered hearts.
Love one another as Jesus loved all — with empathy, compassion, and gratitude — making generous allowances for their ignorance and emotional immaturity.”

The Beloved: “Today let Me talk about willfulness and the ego, a subject which crops up frequently.
On your path to self-mastery, these matters need your intense scrutiny if you sincerely desire to do the will of the Creator with a glad and joyful heart. It is then that you need to be vigilant in your self-examination, because often the ego also plays a role.
Willfulness and ego are like identical twins, and difficult to separate at times. When something bad happens, and because of the after-effects, you may need to ask yourself, “How could I have handled this differently, or how can I behave better next time?”
Often there is no “next time”, which gives rise to guilt, regret, resentment, anger and more. These are all spirit poisons.
Impatience is a curse, especially in speech. Harsh, hurtful and untrue words, can never be recalled, and echo throughout eternity.
Words can deeply wound tender hearts when willfulness is out of control, often together with an immature ego that needs to have the last word.
I know that oftentimes it is a fine line to walk when your reaction is perceived to be in self-defense. Ponder these words, My beloved, for these are two great areas in which to practice self-discipline on the way to self-mastery.
Just for one day, moment by moment, live consciously and check your reaction to others. Are they coming from love, or are they coming from hastiness and impatience?
In sincerely doing the will of the Creator you need to tackle your negative traits, and in doing so, you are becoming an island of light, peace, harmony and balance in an utterly stressful and dark world.
Earthly certificates and diplomas are of no significance in eternal life. Only self-mastery is important.
Come to Me daily for nurturing, help and further instruction, for that is why I dwell within you, to help you progress into all that you can be in eternity.”

Thomas: “Even when you have found spirituality, that is, when you have found God and have committed to do His will, life can sometimes have too much of normality and become fastidious. Not everything you do in life is exhilarating; life is not always an ‘endless adventure’ when you are counting days, hours and minutes. Sometimes, even if you see the larger picture — the supreme meaning — it’s hard to transfer the satisfaction of these major successes to day-to-day events. So the question many times is just: How to keep satisfied every day? My simple answer is: find the enemies of your satisfaction.
“One thing that keeps the modern man from enjoying satisfaction in all he does is the enslaving Routine. Don’t get me wrong, routines are extremely beneficial to human beings. They help you get things done, they keep you organized and effective. But they rob your satisfaction in life when they transform your life into something machine-like. Routines should not be abandoned, but in order to avoid routine making your life arid and unsatisfying, they must be regularly suspended and replaced with different and recreational activities. Or, if possible, consider new ways (new routines) of doing those same things.
“Another satisfaction-killer is the well-known Boredom. Boredom is hard to explain. Most people don’t know why they are bored. Boredom robs your satisfaction by robbing your interest in what you are doing. It gives you the sensation that time stands still and there is nothing to do, but just wait. The answer to boredom is not in the outer world; the outer world is probably the cause of your boredom. So if you want to overcome boredom learn how to entertain yourself with your thoughts. Concentrate on things you like, recall those memories that you cherish or even plan your day ahead.
“Finally, what really can destroy satisfaction is the sense of Meaninglessness. This is a little more serious than routine and boredom. Indeed, this feeling sometimes rests upon all life and it seems that life has entirely lost meaning. Both Psychology and Spirituality can help with this. Psychology says depression comes when you, for whatever reason, lose control of your life. Spirituality says you feel meaningless when you have no hope beyond this life. Finding spiritual meaning certainly will help with the psychological effects of depression. You find purpose in life when you find the Universal Father and choose to do His will.
“So, my friend, the loss of satisfaction may be something trivial like a passing boredom, but it can also have its causes in something much graver, like a life-crisis, revealing a life-spreading depression, which can stick with you for years, even your entire life. Attack first the most dangerous, if that is your case — the meaninglessness — then you will be able to manage the effects of routine or boredom. Most importantly, do not fail to address the spiritual aspect of the problem. Make sure you establish and keep a worshipful relationship with the Father of all. I am your friend, Midwayer Thomas. “A display of specialized skill does not signify possession of spiritual capacity. Cleverness is not a substitute for true character.” [UB, 48:7.3]
Thought Adjuster: “It is natural to be awed by your peers’ brilliance — be it the vocal prowess of a diva, the mastery of a virtuoso, the catlike agility of a gymnast, the grace of a ballerina, the stunning depictions of an artist. Your senses feast on the beautiful productions of gifted individuals.
The keyword is gifted. Your God-given talents cannot but enhance others’ life experiences when used with selfless motivation. These collective blessings showered from on high lose their fairy dust and morph into curses when misused. Their beneficiaries’ self-image is at high risk to get severely impaired by the excessive adulation of their adoring fans.
“Jesus was a splendid specimen of robust and intellectual manhood.” [UB, 127:5.1] What made him over average was that he instantly deflected all attempts to glorify him. Instead of flaunting his extraordinary achievements, he humbly laid them on the altar of ever-higher service, faithful to his calling to provide a visual representation of the Godlikeness yielded by spiritual living since God is Spirit.
The Son of Man consulted with his indwelling divine fragment in all critical matters. “The entire experience of Adjuster communion is one involving moral status, mental motivation, and spiritual experience. The self-realization of such an achievement is mainly, though not exclusively, limited to the realms of soul consciousness, but the proofs are forthcoming and abundant in the manifestation of the fruits of the spirit in the lives of all such inner-spirit contactors.” [UB, 5:2.6]
“[The] fruits of the spirit are love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.” [UB, 34:6.13] Nothing but an active spiritual life can bear such dividends. Never adopt as a role model anyone disharmonious in mind and spirit.
Prioritizing your spiritual life will boost your immunity against toxic flattery. It is how Jesus stood out in the crowd — dignified, exerting an undeniable spiritual appeal — the proof that the abidance to spiritual values is what makes one lastingly memorable.”
