Subject: “The End of a Cycle.”

Thought Adjuster: “Will next year be the one in which you will finally remove every obstacle that prevents you from being your best – the highest and most perfected being you can aspire to be? Always, when a year ends, or when any of your human ‘cycles’ has completed, many of you take some time to consider the path traversed and where your efforts are leading you. For many, this is the only instant of introspection you have during the entire year. However, these disperse self-reflection moments cannot produce the same results that continuous self-observation could render.
You can compare these moments where you determine where your life is going to the efforts of an athlete to improve her performance. Consider which athlete would be more successful, the one who works on her technique and exercises once a year, or the one who practices daily and is making corrections or adjustments to the necessary parameters to improve at every moment?
The journey to perfection is a journey of continuous adjustments and constant self-evaluation. It is through your decisions that you build your destiny and take the necessary steps to achieve your eternal goal. Each minute you can choose between being the best you can imagine you can be, or avoid the efforts by choosing the path of least resistance. Each instant in your life you can choose to express love towards your peers, or pursue the satisfaction of your own material impulses. How can you determine the quality of the decisions you are making if you don’t stop for a moment to consider what you have done, or what you will do?
At the end of each cycle, at the moment you observe your life and where your decisions have brought you, know that these decisions and actions have not happened in a sudden manner, but they have been a slow process, distributed over a certain amount of time. Astute travelers do not make corrections to their path when they reach the wrong destination. An expert explorer would correct her course as she travels and will make the necessary adjustments to come as close as possible to the chosen destination.
Do not let the fact that you reached the wrong place be a surprise. Observe starting right now where you are walking to, where your desires, your illusions, and your decisions are leading you and, if you notice that you are walking in the wrong direction, then make the necessary changes and establish new goals that are more agreeable with the presence of the Father within you.”

The Beloved: “There are many different thoughts floating around in your brain. You have a mercurial mind, and it seems very hard for you to just be, so let Me guide your thought processes.
Life on this planet is filled with too many distractions, and hardly a day goes by when you are not distressed about one thing or another. It will become more and more important for you to take time out to think and to reflect. Your daily coming into the Stillness is a balm for the soul that flows throughout the physical system.
It is then you can take stock of your day, and see where you could have been just a bit more loving, a bit more courageous, a bit less selfish. It is in true and honest appraisal of yourself; in healthy self-reflection, that will allow you to feel My presence, and thereby gain the courage to live yet another day for the highest good for yourself and those around you.
By living this way, you are creating a more peaceful mode of existence, a method that ripples out into the surrounding area of where you live. You may not notice it, but the angels on High take note of each one who sincerely and with perseverance tries each new day to live with greater conscious awareness.
This is where you can experience the real joy of living – the feeling of being connected to the Creator – to carry out into the world, with renewed hope and courage, the recognition and the blessings received while in the Stillness.
It is an outpouring of spiritual fragrance, which can then be spread out over the world through your conduct towards all others.
Be brave, My beloved, and take heart. Know that I am always with you throughout your never-ending existence of life eternal, where we shall become one.”

Subject: “I Shall Make It Up to You.”

“Sometimes your most disappointing disappointments have become your greatest blessings. Sometimes the planting of a seed necessitates its death, the death of your fondest hopes, before it can be reborn to bear the fruits of new life and new opportunity.” [UB, 48:6.36]
Thought Adjuster: “If you equate disappointments with failures, you are failing to perceive the fresh opportunities they bring into your lives. A personal fiasco may be a way for the universe to bring you to a halt when you are heading in the wrong direction — thus sparing you more grief and regrets. Divine intervention may be disguised as anti-climactic happenstances that extract you from ‘what you suck at’ to propel you toward ‘what you excel at’ — drastic conversion experiences.
By trusting in your divine guidance and closing your prayerful petitions for support with the wise disclaimer “but my will is to do Your will,” you install some safety valves in your undertakings. Whenever your initiatives get nipped in the bud, you can deduct that they were not meant to be. It is not a let-down but a reorientation.
“What do You have in store for me?” is the open-ended question you should ask. It is far better than the self-deprecating “Why can’t I get anything right?” or the finger-pointing “Why are You letting me down?”
To all of the above, the Father consistently answers: “I shall make it up to you” — never a lip service on his part. For safety reasons, he may place roadblocks in your way; rest assured that he has already strategically positioned detour signs to lead you to your legitimate destination.
The emotional challenges of disappointments force you to address unpleasant sentiments and wanting reactional patterns. By facilitating their transformative alchemy, you will extract valuable soul nutrients out of these metaphorical sour lemons. They will make you stronger and wiser. Isn’t it what you need to grow toward emotional self-mastery and spiritual enlightenment?
Acknowledge the personal blessings birthed through the labor pains of disappointments. “Father, I thank you for the good contained in this difficult situation.”. It will help you cope while applying hard-earned practical lessons toward the stellar success of divinely-sponsored undertakings.”

The Beloved: “We could speak on the subject of criticism and judgment at some length, yet the time would be far better spent to discuss unconditional love and how to practice this.
Indeed, unconditional love is a very rare quality of character on a planet such as this. However, and I am truly earnest here in saying that this is the ideal planet with abundant opportunity to cultivate that quality by practicing this fruit of the spirit.
It is so easy to love when all goes well, but to be in a state of unconditional love there needs to also be unconditional forgiveness. Although the mind has its intellectual reasons and or objections, unconditional love and forgiveness, which go hand in hand, are truly a state and matter of the heart.
The heart may have been grieved to the breaking point, however, there is great healing for the heart in true forgiveness and acceptance. At first this seems like a tough mountain to climb, which is how you can visualize it.
It is with great perseverance and determination that one needs to climb this mountain if you want to, always and under all circumstances, see the best in others and behold the Creator in them, for they too, shall sit at the banquet table of the Master.
See your life as a mountain to climb, and know that you have Me within to give you the sturdy footing you need. In this manner of living, you shall reach the summit of forgiveness, tolerance, acceptance and unconditional love.
Live in this faith, My beloved, it will make your climb so much easier. Through the experience of training yourself in this mastery, you will cultivate some marvelous qualities. You will overcome the obstacles of judgment and criticism, which otherwise only lead to feelings of not being good enough.
Of course, this also includes how you act towards others and speak to others, as everything you say and do has consequences.
Let me assure you that you are good enough, for I am with you every inch of the way.
Place Me first and foremost in your life and you will know for certain that My help is always available to you, even when you stumble and fall over the stones on your path.”

Subject: “A Lesson on Spirit Communication.”

Teacher Ophelius: “The Circle and I are here today on the sea of glass connecting with you on Urantia — it would seem that there are some extraordinary forces at work to bridge such a distance of time, space, and vibration, yet here we are communicating with little interference. It is no miracle that this is so, because we are all connected by the Omnipresence of Spirit. To communicate in this way would be possible for many of you living on Urantia if only you would believe you could do such things. As the days grow closer to the era of Light and Life, more and more shall the people of Urantia communicate with the Mansion Worlds — not because there will be greater circuitry in place, but because more of you shall ‘know’ and believe that it is possible!
“For many of you students reading this message, I perceive a veil of doubt and a fear of not being ‘good enough’ to do such things, or that you might ‘get it wrong’ and write something down that is in error. They are the self-imposed limitations (fear, doubt, ridicule) that prevent you from connecting. Teachers are available to all those who desire to serve during this time of correction on your world. If I may offer a suggestion, I would say to those who desire to have a teacher, to simply ‘ask’ and you shall ‘receive.’ Worry not about what others might say or that you might get it wrong — start with a personal journal and keep these entries confidential. Ask questions and then ‘feel’ into the answer — write it down and don’t worry about the accuracy of the answer. Begin a regular schedule (a sacred space and time) for your journal writing and soon you shall begin to see that some of what you write is coming from a much deeper place — the answers may surprise you.
“Sit down each time and ask your Indwelling Spirit to connect you to your teacher. Clear your mind of all random chatter and simply begin writing — asking your questions — your concerns about life, or any number of thoughts that come to your mind. Imagine you are hearing dialog from your teacher and write down those things that you ‘imagine’ your teacher would say. It is in the imagination that will eventually lead you to a belief that you have no limitation in hearing. For this one, who is writing now, it is in the act of writing that distracts him from his own limitations and so my words flow onto the page. Don’t over think it — just begin and worry not about the outcome. Let these journal entries be for you and you alone.
“This exercise in connecting with Spirit benefits you in more ways than receiving spirit messages; it prepares you for greater dialog with your Indwelling Spirit. As you become accustomed to asking your Indwelling Spirit to assist you in connecting and writing, you are establishing a deeper relationship with Spirit — you are beginning to trust more. Many of you may simply write from this deeper place within you and bring through impressions from your Thought Adjuster — your Indwelling Spirit. Any and all ways that you use to connect and communicate are never wasted efforts, for there is value in this intimate collaboration.
“Since these writings are your own — for your eyes only — you can explore and ask the most intimate of questions about yourself. It is a truly liberating experience to do such things. Spirit is never judgmental of anything you ask. It is to the joy of all Spirit that you connect and explore this deeper place within yourself, for it sets you upon a path of greater progression and helps you to discover the things of value in your life — those things that survive eternity. Take me at my word, dear friends, and you shall discover something truly unique about yourself.
