Subject: “About Living in the Higher Worlds.”

Thought Adjuster: “The life you experience in this world is the foundation of eternal life. The spiritual progress you achieve during this life will determine how easily you will adapt to the life of a universal citizen. To make this adaptation as efficient as possible, the best thing you can do is to start to live as if you were already in the mansion worlds. In other words, it is living in the present as if you are living in a world where the age of light and life has been reached.
This is possible and it was demonstrated very eloquently in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, who lived a life like the ones lived upon worlds in an advanced stage of light and life, and he did it two thousand years ago on this very planet. The age of light and life is not a season that will arrive on its own, like spring coming after winter, or day coming after night. It is an achievement of humanity and is only possible when each human being inaugurates an age of light and life in her own heart.
What do I mean by this? Today many of you desire peace and fraternity among human beings, but most of you seem to ignore the fact that for this to happen each of you must learn to love your neighbors and seriously follow the golden rule – to treat others as you would like to be treated. If you want peace among men and women you have to be friendly to those around you, and remove all mistrust, suspiciousness, and reservations against those you may consider as strangers or different. If you wish that material ambition ceases to be the main motivation for human enterprises, first you have to ensure it is not your main motivation. If you wish that men and women in this world treat each other as siblings regardless of race, beliefs, or their place of origin, then this is exactly what you as an individual have to do first. Understand that all these good things you desire for your world and your people can only be possible when you practice them first. This is how you create a reality filled with light and goodness in this world.
Heaven on earth may seem a very distant goal in your world, but this does not have to be the case in your individual lives. Choose right now to live as if the Father was walking next to you – because, in fact, He does – and thus you become one more light fighting against the darkness that has covered your world for so long. Live with joy knowing that by faith you are a child of God and do for your peers what the Father would do for them. This way you will develop the hunger and thirst for righteousness that can only be satisfied through the experience of becoming more like God, and this is, in the end, the simplest way to start living as if you were already in the higher worlds.”

The Beloved: “Let us discuss how to overcome your baser creature habits and tendencies of requiring instant gratification. You need to root out those habits that keep you an earthbound creature, without spirit wings to soar before the throne of God.
The influence of the world is very strong with its increasing materialism, so the matter of eternal life gets only cursory attention. Become aware of how ensnared you are by commercialism, enticing you to 'buy this, buy that, a bigger this, a better that.'
Before you know it, you will have fallen into the claws of the god of money, because you have bought into the false belief that worldly goods are the answer to happiness, but that which you truly desire will never be satisfied.
Here is the secret allowing you to truly attain inner peace – the peace your Master Jesus spoke of. He said, 'I have come, not to bring peace, but a sword.' The true meaning of this saying is for you to do the work within yourself by overcoming that baser urge of instant gratification, which will never be fulfilled, but can only be temporarily satisfied.
To start fighting this impulse, you need the sword of self-discipline, to be able to honestly ask yourself, 'do I really need this, or can I train myself to resist, and not give in to this urge?
See if you can gain some ground here. You need a sharp sword to cut away this instinctive creature urge that tries to take over, because the line between needs and wants has become blurred, as the god of mammon and the gratification of the flesh have almost completely taken over.
Peace of mind remains nebulous and elusive to most humans. It is never too late to turn within and search for My still Voice, which ever so patiently waits to be heard, and can give each mortal that peace of mind and rest in their soul, which humankind so earnestly desires and know not how to obtain.
Come into the Silence within awhile, and gain a peace the world can never give you.”

Thought Adjuster: “When Salome, the mother of James and John Zebedee, approached Jesus, soliciting that her sons be assigned honorific sittings at his right and left in the upcoming kingdom, Jesus was both saddened and appalled by her bold request.
Driven by egotistic motherly pride, Salome did not grasp that she was putting her sons in great danger. Jesus inaugurated the spiritual kingdom of heaven when he rendered his last breath after agonizing as an innocent, human sacrifice. He thus heroically earned spiritual sovereignty over the kingdom of the hearts.
“And their mother, who was present at the crucifixion, well remembered the foolish request she had made of Jesus at Pella regarding the honors she so unwisely sought for her apostle sons. [UB, 171:0.7]
Jesus never missed an opportunity to inspire his entourage. He premeditated his moves, assuming full responsibility for their outcome. He always set his sights on the Father’s long- and short-term benevolent vision, never allowing the many entrapments that lure immature human minds to entrap him.
Always end your petitions for divine assistance with the disclaimer, ‘but my will is to do Your will.’ It will make you disappointment-proof. If your requests seem to fall on deaf, divine ears, know that it is not for lack of due consideration. Your disclaimer will allow your guidance team to edit them into an acceptable version that will honor your highest good, and that much better things are in store for you, ever nudging you Godward in truth, beauty, and goodness.”

The Scribe: “Dear One, for those who are seeking to expand their spiritual understanding and achieve enlightenment in their life on Urantia, there is no greater way than to ‘make real’ the relationship they have with their Indwelling Spirit of the Father — the Thought Adjuster (TA). Being a Personalized Adjuster, I know wherefore I speak. I AM Chief of Adjusters on Urantia and I AM in communication with all TAs on the planet. I AM privy to the data that shows the progress of Adjuster attunement world-wide and there is a great opportunity at present for all those who are willing to ‘make real’ their relationship and become participants in the Universal Father’s Great Plan.
“We (your teachers) have been speaking in repetition to you about this ‘theme’ for very good reason, and it is now possible for all humans to have this relationship with varying degrees of contact. There are developing systems and circuits of energy in place within the Planetary Supreme and in the very energetic systems of your own being that allow for this greater degree of contact that have never thus been on your planet. I admonish you to think deeply with the heart — it is in this deep place of thought where the Spirit speaks to the conscious mind and where these new circuits begin to ripen.

Thought Adjuster: “Sharing truth with others is useful for each human being with spiritual inclinations. Spiritual truth cannot be completely understood by an individual human mind. The experiences and understandings of others are as valuable to your spiritual progress as your own experiences. A single human being will not be able to experience or live all the possible circumstances in life. Seeing the truth from the point of view of your peers will always give you a more complete vision or reality.
The entire scheme of mortal progression considers this as a fundamental fact. The experiences accumulating in the Supreme Being are the patrimony of all creatures and are meant for the edification of all intelligent beings. These experiences will be available to all one day and the entire creation will benefit from these complementary revelations of the Father.
In your daily life, take some time to observe the life of your peers and discover what lessons they have learned. You will never be so advanced in your spiritual learning that you can’t learn from another being. Particularly, in this world, all of you are more or less at the same spiritual level, facing the same limitations, but living unique life experiences. You can help each other by sharing your experiences. Always remain a student of human nature and this way you will discover more things about yourself and the Father, who inhabits in the hearts of your peers as well as yours.
Consider how Jesus dedicated so much time to know and understand His peers, even after remembering His true nature. If the creators of the universe consider the personal contact with human beings an important part of their own universal education, you should do the same. The riches upon this sphere are abundant, but the greatest wealth you possess is yourselves, your brotherhood, your humanity, because it is there where you can find God and where you can start the journey towards individual and planetary perfection.
Those who have learned to discern truth can find it everywhere and cannot be deceived easily. Search for truth in the hearts and the minds of those around you. The wisest man in this world can always learn something, even from innocent children with little experience. Do not deprive yourself of the education and the benefits of a healthy social life and sincere affection for your peers. Even when the journey towards perfection is an individual endeavor, no mortal in isolation will be able to find God.”
