Subject: “Forgiveness Falls Under the Category of Human Affairs.”

“When a wise man understands the inner impulses of his fellows, he will love them. And when you love your brother, you have already forgiven him. [. . .] The child, being immature and lacking in the fuller understanding of the depth of the child-father relationship, must frequently feel a sense of guilty separation from a father’s full approval, but the true father is never conscious of any such separation. Sin is an experience of creature consciousness; it is not a part of God’s consciousness. [UB, 174:1.4]
Thought Adjuster: “From the above statement made by Jesus about the forgiveness of sins, one can imply that, because sin is not part of his consciousness, God does not perceive sinful behaviors as punishable offenses of lese-Majesty. He cannot take sin personally. He IS and, therefore, fully inhabits each now moment. His Carpe Diem mentality, combined with the unconditional nature of his ever-outgoing love substance, keeps him grudge-free.
Jesus grasped that ignorance and harboring hateful prejudices are the main culprits in men’s misguided deeds. They make them accessories to petty or more serious crimes by blindsiding them. Paradoxically, such behaviors arouse compassion in a parental heart — a byproduct of unconditional love that nullifies the need to forgive.
Iniquity is a grave offense, committed knowingly in total disregard of divine law and order. The Ten Commandments etched in stone were a PowerPoint presentation of ‘What to Beware of.’
Due to the tragic Luciferian legacy, humankind suffers from severe spiritual handicaps and often fails to get things right the first time. The painful backlash of such catastrophic mishaps yields unpleasant feelings of shame and guilt, making it difficult to look at the Father in the eyes. Yet, he never withholds his affection from his children, as love is his nature.
One could say that forgiveness is part of human affairs. By emulating Jesus’ godlike mercy toward errant souls, you too will reach a point of no return to the past. You will stop regurgitating undigested memories. Become aware of your unhealthy fixations that keep grudges alive. Sever such toxic attachments by conscious acts of forgiveness — to the self and others — thus setting yourself free to enjoy the gifts of each present moment — no strings attached.”

Monjoronson: “On this first day of a new year, while you ponder the warlike problems that are still quite endemic in your world, you ask me, “What will it take to secure peace on our planet?” And I say to you, peace comes with a price. Though not the price that many of you envision. For peace may initially be secured through the exchange of physical resources in your world, through the demonstration of physical might for right, but peace can only ‘endure’ when it is secured as a living testament in the minds and hearts of humankind.
“Through the long ages of your history, this warlike behavior has permeated the human frame of mind to the point that without substantial effort, is it quite hard for you to maintain the simplest form of peaceful thought for even a short period of time. And yet, peace can only endure when it is the prevailing thought in a significant number of individuals. Regardless of the side you take on an issue, peace begins with you.
“Peace will never be achieved through war. It may be halted temporarily by securing the resources and help of many, but it will not ‘endure’ until peace is maintained in the daily thoughts and actions of those who desire it. So, no matter how far removed you are from the battlefields of war on your planet, each and every one of you can contribute to the pursuit of world peace by actively engaging in the development of a peaceful heart and mind in your daily lives. This is the price for peace.
“If there is conflict and strife in those around you, among members of your family and friends, in your workplace or in the presence of your own mind, then we ask that you seek ways to resolve these issues, to balance your mind with thoughts that provide alternative peaceful viewpoints. Take action to understand these disruptive and separating feelings. Find ways to adjust your thinking, so that you may see another’s point of view, and then replace your thoughts and actions in more thoughtful and loving ways toward yourself and others.
“Do not expect to maintain a peaceful mind continually throughout your day or week. You, as human beings, have an emotional nature that naturally fluctuates as you respond to your environment.
“We also suggest that you try not to over-react to the negativity that arises within you. For you will merely prolong this state of mind without resolution. These negative thoughts do have deep roots in your cultural and genetic heritage. But they do not own you and you do not have to own them. They are merely thought forms that you can choose to accept or not accept as a part of your state of mind.
“If you truly desire to cultivate a peaceful mind that will impact you and those around you, then simply look for the origin of these negative thoughts. Seek to understand conflicting points of view. Remove the need to always hold on to your own point of view. Listen first. You will be more able to consciously change your thoughts, alter your expectations and look for solutions that will lead to more peaceful alternatives. Then watch how quickly these negative thoughts begin to lose their strength and dissipate.
“My friends, it may appear that the way toward peace in your world is affected more by the external actions and reactions of those you have no control over. Yet, let me assure you that you can accomplish much more than this in your daily life. For you can reduce the anger, fear, and anxiety in yourself and others by just maintaining your own inner peace.
“May the blessings of our Father propel you toward a fresh start this new year. May you find success in exploring those practices that foster your peace of mind. I assure you that we will be here as well to help you sort through the many thoughts that you encounter as you grow in His love and peace.”

The Scribe: “There are rules, procedures and ‘recipes’ for getting anything done in our universes. There is order in which things are made ready for the end result to turn out as expected, every time, yes, virtually without exception. If one was to move away from essential procedure, there would likely be experienced failure in some way. In some cases unbelievable, age-long repercussions would ensue, because ultimately all is connected.
George explains: “Our longtime 11:11 Progress Group member, (T), suggests: (‘…life on Urantia would be a ‘cinch’ had it not been for Lucifer messing with the recipe for ‘honest universe management.’ Could it (Lucifer’s elimination) not have been done in another way, a faster, less painful, less costly way? Just why was he and his henchmen left alone for sooooo long to carry on with their depraved ways? As it is, my life is tough. I . . . hurt!’)
The Scribe: “I understand. Every aspect of ‘universe management’ has a set and scheduled way of being brought about. At any time before His having served as a human among His own creation, your beloved Michael did not have the right to replace the rebel, Lucifer, or do anything much against the Lanonandek Son, for such would have created even greater difficulties than you are faced with today. Others, with the capability, offered to punish the wayward System Sovereign, but Michael hoped to one day persuade him to change his evil ways.
“But time-space worlds of rebellion are the evolutionary hothouses — the super-growth centers — for the decisive ones that are the greatest contributors to the Paradise-battalions that will one day serve the Father in his deep space universes. Already now many are looking back on their miserable rebel world existances that gave them the stamina to persevere. Consider the most envious Paradise Sons who know that such beginnings and such future lives will forever remain outside of their reach of serving the Creator-Father.

Michael: “Thank you for giving me your attention after pondering the problems I face with this special little planet of my birth. Dear child, please don’t worry about my problems, but rather set yourself about the task of solving yours. All I need to concern myself with is her evolution, which is entering a critical phase and needs the guidance of the celestial Master Force Organizers, who carefully watch the movements of the tectonic plates. So, these are not your problems. I would like to point out that you humans in your mindlessness (but at last more knowingly) have added to the problems of the planet.
“Only yesterday you looked at a picture at how polluted your oceans are becoming with refuse and you are witnessing the pollution of your skies when you see certain planes overhead spewing out all sorts of nefarious chemical trails. And please don’t get me going on how your food supply is being interfered with — with so-called genetic organism engineering.
“These are just three things that are upsetting my plans for a peaceful evolution on this precious innocent planet of mine. Have you left your collective good senses or are you too sleepy to notice what is going on around you in the air, in the sea and on the land? We, as your celestial overseers, have to cope with the thoughtlessness of you creatures. Yes, I know what you are thinking. You think about the stories in your so-called holy books — that I was a mild-mannered carpenter, having come to relieve mankind from the burdens of their sins through forgiveness by being used as a ‘scapegoat.’
“Have you never read how I repeatedly said that each person is responsible for his or her own actions? My Father and your Father has given you all a precious free will to use, to take control of your thoughts and to endeavor to do God’s will. To glorify the Giver of all life, whose message, like mine was: “Love one another, even as I loved you” whilst I was here in the flesh? Anew, I tell you the same message, but now I will also add; “Love My planet, too.” Now she is being put into a situation of having to cleanse herself as she has had enough of all the abuse, heaped upon her innocence.
“The planet is also a living breathing being and would love human cooperation to help her to ascend into the Light so she can attain also her eternal goal just like it is possible for each individual possible to attain. This planet has a hidden magnificence of perfection in her which she is trying to attain. You humans are also given life to attain your hidden perfected magnificence on your ascension journey to Paradise.
“Why forego your own chances of achieving perfection? Do you not realize that this life is the beginning of your eternal existence? Of course, you have the choice not to enjoy eternal life. That is totally depending on your precious free will — how you choose, think and act. The responsibility is yours. Either work with me or against me! How will you choose? It is in you to do so.”

Thought Adjuster: “It is true that in the adventure of spiritual growth it is not important what you are but what you desire to be. When a human being decides to do everything in her power to improve herself, this brings the conditions that facilitate the influence of the Divine Presence of the Father in the human mind. Only when you realize your limitations, your weaknesses, and your defects will you open the doors for correction and improvement. However, this sincere and brutally honest exam of yourself is sometimes very hard for a human being, but it is the first step to salvation.
The desire to be better is the most effective method to promote spiritual progress and avoid stagnation. When a man feels satisfied with himself, he cannot find opportunities to improve. Only when you examine carefully your decisions and actions to assess if your highest ideals have been considered will you create the space where you can start becoming a creature of light.
Consider for a moment that, if you had already reached perfection, you would not be in this world. When a human being has managed to live the will of the Father without reservations and understands her role in creation, the conditions for fusion with a Fragment or the Father – the Thought Adjuster – have been met, which means an automatic ‘promotion’ to the higher worlds, because all the things that a human being needed to learn in a material world were obtained. If you are still on this planet that is all the indication you need to know that there are still adjustments to be made and lessons to be learned.
But even though it may be difficult to face the disillusions of seeing your own defeats in the challenges of a more spiritual life, the rewards and satisfactions of observing how your slowly overcome the limitations of your animal origin and start transforming into a luminous spiritual being by your own effort are worthwhile. These satisfactions give meaning to human life and will provide the certainty of having lived a great and rich mortal life. In your hands you hold the tools to create your own destiny and, with the help of the Father, create a new being from the raw materials of what you are today, a being of light and love that will be an agent of goodness, beauty, and truth for an entire universe.”
