Thought Adjuster: “Jesus suggested that the main motivation for human beings should be their most sincere intentions. Many religions teach that mortals should examine themselves, see their mistakes, and make the necessary adjustments. This is a useful and necessary task, but it does not promote spiritual progress on its own. Only when a human being feels the fervent desire to be better will the profound character transformations, bringing them closer to the object of their worship – the Father, take place.
Religion should not be limited to a simple intellectual exercise. The mind and the spirit are two different things. The mind is where human beings sketch their reality. Spirit is the moving force that is constantly motivating human efforts. The mind is the conscious efforts of man, his decisions. Spirit is the inspiration, the nudging, the guidance, and the guarantee of achievement. Humans cannot force spirit with their intellect, but spirit can touch the human intellect and elevate it to transcendental purposes.
The simple fact of saying ‘I want to be better’ can be the intent, but cannot withstand the challenges and the trials of everyday life. A simple statement of desiring eternal life can be noble, but cannot overcome errors or failure, when a creature must face the consequences of her irreflexive actions. Only the desire inspired by spirit will let you rise each time the weight of your mistaken decisions brings you down and will motivate you to move forward when the limitations of your human nature become painfully evident.
Jesus expected that all His children/siblings on this earth adopted a philosophy of life based on sincere spiritual searching. He knew how fragile human will could be and knew first-hand how the appearances of the world could confuse a sincere soul. The honest spiritual search – with the meekness and the humility of a child – is the only thing that can ensure the constant flow of spiritual inspiration to achieve success in life. The human mind will not transform men and make them more spiritual. Rather, spirit is the one that transforms the mind and brings men to eternal life. This is the key to building your faith upon solid foundations.
A faith that is solely intellectual will crumble easily due to the discoveries of more advanced ages. A faith based on miracles becomes skeptic when knowing that miracles can have rather mundane explanations. However, a faith that is based on spirit keeps the soul nourished and inspired to continue discovering new values and meanings in everyday life, since all creatures who carry the Presence of God in their being can truly discover Him in every moment, directly and without intermediaries in the personal experience.”

The Beloved: “Increasingly you shall experience a new level of growth while I lead you deeper within yourself. There are many levels to be explored, and this will continue throughout your numerous transitions during life eternal, before you attain fully-fledged spirit status.
There is a vast space intervening between the material and the spiritual. This is called the morontia state of being. Be aware of the fact that this is not the only life you will live. It is merely the preparatory life, during which, under My directions, you lay the foundation for your eternal life.
It is your faith and trust in Me that will make this foundation strong and unshakable. I know that you are up to this task, because I carry our blueprint as to what you and I are capable of becoming.
All I ask of you is that you sincerely try to sense My instructions more clearly when I provide you with choices. It is by your total free-will choice that you will turn away from the noises of the outer world, and make time for the inner world and come to Me in the Silence.
Here I am always waiting for you, where we enjoy each other’s company and you get to know, and increasingly trust Me more, so I can teach you and entice you to bring your every-day thoughts to a more spiritual and loving level.
In doing so, your inner world becomes your sanctuary, a bastion of strength built upon faith and trust, where there is no room for fear or worries.
This is the level I would have you attain in mortal life, a glorious faith, a sublime trust that all is well, because you are experiencing that ‘underneath are the everlasting arms,’ which nurture and protect you.”

“Of God, the most inescapable of all presences, the most real of all facts, the most living of all truths, the most loving of all friends, and the most divine of all values, we have the right to be the most certain of all universe experiences.” [UB, 102:7.10]
Thought Adjuster: “Many human minds have not yet acknowledged their indwelling divine Fragment and campaign to disprove the ‘most real of all facts’— the First Source and Center of All-That-Is from which I hailed.
Let us reverse roles. Let me be the one challenging their atheistic disbelief system by asking them to come up with logical answers to My thought-provoking inquiries.
Here I go: Where does the life-sustaining energy come from? Haven't your scientists established that there is no cause without effect and no effect without a cause? If the material creation was accidental, how do you explain that everything is interactive and co-dependent?
What set off the Big Bang? How could a collision of such magnitude be constructive instead of devastating? Even the ‘chaos theorists’ recognize that ‘the universe’ abounds in happy accidents and surprises, and that order is slowly emerging out of chaos?
“The perfected grand universe of those future days will be vastly different from what it is at present. Gone will be the thrilling adventures of the organization of the galaxies of space, the planting of life on the uncertain worlds of time, and the evolving of harmony out of chaos, beauty out of potentials, truth out of meanings, and goodness out of values.” [UB, 117:7.17]
How could so much intrinsic beauty manifest itself through random events? Wouldn’t it be more reasonable to infer there is an intelligent orchestration of synchronicities and synchronizations? If human beings are ‘accidental tourists,’ why do they all long for everlasting happiness — a blissful state obtained by communing in love, peace, and harmony?
Where do emotions come from? Why do these non-material impulses of energy-in-motion exert such an influence on your decisions? What ‘motivates’ your actions if All-That-Came-to-Be is devoid of underlying intention?
Aren’t you wonders of unsurpassed engineering? Your eyebrows prevent perspiration or raindrops from blurring your vision. Your tears lubricate your eyes. Your downward-facing nostrils prevent raindrops from entering them and causing havoc on your respiratory system. Your limbs perform a vast array of mechanical functions. Your fingerprints and your personality are unique.
Why does each botanical species emit its designer fragrances? Why does Mother nature color-code its essential nutrients? Why do the plumages of birds of one feather come in various stunning color arrangements? Why does each flock sing to a different tune?
Are your finely tuned sensors random endowments? How do you explain such intelligent coincidences? Could all of this have occurred at the wrong place and wrong time?
I am waiting with bated breath and an open mind for your rebuttal. You can try to prove Me wrong, but I know for Myself that I am not a figment of imagination gone wild. I am a Fragment of The One some choose to ostracize from their life. No matter which conclusion you reach, I cannot vanish into nothingness, as I am part of All-That-Is — here to serve your highest good if only you would let Me. As a matter of fact, I hold the answer to all these questions.”

Thought Adjuster: “It is time to open your eyes to note an awakening of consciousness, which dawns on the Earth — a prelude to the Age of Light and Life. A new day is dawning, the darkness is clearing. Bright light is beginning to emerge. Already illuminating the consciousness of many people, it will gradually include so very many others.
“The dawn brings with it new hopes, the beginning of new opportunities. Little by little, at first almost imperceptibly — repentance, forgiveness, goodness, yes peace — begin to emerge. And little by little they will spread, just as the dawn sunshine illuminates all landscapes on Earth. You don’t know how it will happen, you cannot understand it with a limited mind, but trust that it will be.
“Focus on receiving the light, on being you, the peace, kindness, forgiveness, love; focus on touching and transforming each person that you find on your path. You are part of this dawn. You are the awakening. And with it, new opportunities, abundance and well-being come to you.
“Prepare to receive. Focus on giving.
“The songs of birds can now be heard for the day is dawning. This is also how you begin to notice My Voice becoming louder, ever clearer, closer and closer. Are you awake already? Contemplate the dawn of the Earth.”

Thought Adjuster: “Many of your lowest tendencies are the result of the process of evolution. Your mistrust about the unknown and your natural aggressiveness that is the source of your conflicts and wars, are behaviors rooted in your biology and can be observed in your cousins, the lower primates like chimpanzees and others. Considering that chimpanzees and human beings come from a common ancestor it is correct to assume that many behaviors have been passed through generations up to the modern times.
These behaviors are favored from the evolutionary standpoint because they ensure the preservation of the species and the transmission of genetic information to new generations. Certainly, you could argue that the human beings living in this world, at this time, are the descendants of the strongest and most aggressive individuals of the past, because the weak normally don’t survive long enough to leave descendants in a world initially dominated by animal ferocity and the struggle for survival.
Does this mean that humans are condemned to be victims of their inherited lower impulses? Of course not. There is something transcendent in human beings that can overcome the original animal tendencies. Human intellect has the capacity to decide, to choose among different courses of action the one that provides the most benefit for self and others. When this intellect is enlightened by spirit, mortals become unburdened by their heritage, their culture, their environment, and their limitations.
The evolutionary process of a material world is just the canvas where the Creators and the creatures can draw the scene of a superior civilization that expresses the highest levels of perfection through the life of each individual. All human beings require a biological substrate to live in this world, but this is not the only thing they are. Each one of you has the capacity to live an endless life of searching for perfection and for increasingly faithful expressions of truth, beauty, and goodness. Do not let the appearances of this world blind you so much that you forget what you truly are and ignore the experience of truth that is developing in your souls and your minds, the experience of knowing that you are children of God and can become like your Father.”
