Thought Adjuster.
Subject: “Sound or Stunted Thinking?”
Message received by Anyas
“On every mountaintop of intellectual thought are to be found relaxation for the mind, strength for the soul, and communion for the spirit. […] These high-climbing souls deliver themselves from a multitude of the crosscurrent conflicts of the trifles of living, thus becoming free to attain consciousness of the higher currents of spirit concept and celestial communication.” [UB, 160:3.5]
Thought Adjuster: “You asked Me to elaborate on the above quote, rich in nutrients for higher thoughts — those that elevate the content of your life.
To do so, let us, in contrast, ponder the impact that low-grade thinking has on your life. It stunts your spiritual growth because it is not inspired by Spirit. It remains stuck in a loop of worn-out thoughts that fail to be “in themselves transcendent stimuli, calling forth the reaction of the very best that is resident in man’s higher nature.” [UB, 160:3.5]
Low-grade thoughts are handcuffed to corresponding emotions, as your thinking determines your feeling. You rehash “the material irritations of the lower levels of thinking — worry, jealousy, envy, revenge, and the pride of immature personality” that can be ‘transcended’ by operating on “vantage points of high living” — higher thinking [UB, 160:3.5].
Recall situations when you started exploring virgin territories of new topics. You started with the formulation of a pointed question. Your quest for understanding became the focus of your attention, and you remained on the outlook for pertinent answers—the pebbles of enlightenment seeded along the way of alert treasure hunters. You may harvest them in the pages of a book, in the lyrics of a song, in the memory vault of a kindred soul who pursued a similar inquiry, or they may be air-dropped into the welcoming landing strip of your receptive mind.
No saying how often Spirit has to abort similar operations due to the absent-mindedness of the inquirer. The blossoming or withering of your train of thoughts determines the quality of your human experience.”

Teacher: Thought Adjuster.
Subject: “To love God.”
Message received by Bettina.
Thought Adjuster: “What does it mean to love God? Some say they love God, but do not live like people who love God.
“When you love someone, you think about him or her, you care, invest time, listen, and you know he or she is there. So, if you love God, how can you express your love to Him?
“You need to express love, manifest it and live it. Your love for God is manifested in different ways.
“The first way is through your mind, when you consciously decide to devote thoughts to God to express to Him your love, to thank Him and to be with Him.
“The second way is through your acts. If you love God, you manifest it in various ways, whether you are aware about them or not. It is shown in the brightness of your eyes. It is shown in the smile toward your brothers and sisters. It is shown in your peace and caring disposition. It is shown in the faith with which you live your life.
“The third way is through the experiences of your faith — the trust you place in Him. It is when you live your life guided by Spirit, with absolute trust in Love. It is not possible to love and doubt, for love is absolute and unconditional. It is, or it is not. If someone loves the Father and trusts Him, he or she surrenders to His love and feels confident and protected.
“The fourth way to show your love to God is by loving yourself. God lives in you. You are His creation. You are His masterpiece. Why then would you treat badly yourself or another creation of the Father — someone He so loves? The love for the Father is manifested in your love for His children. And the son of the Father closer to you, with whom you spend your whole life, is yourself. How then should you treat yourself? How will you take care, protect, hear and understand yourself?
“Love God. Love Him deeply. Love Him and show Him your love by loving yourself and loving those who cross your path. That must be the meaning of your life: manifest the love of God in your own person and your kin.
“Everything else will be given to you in abundance. You have nothing to worry about. Instead, devote yourself to love God and your brothers and sisters with all your heart and with all your mind.”

Teacher Ophelius.
Subject: “See the Brilliance of the Universal Father in every Soul.”
Message received by Chris Maurus.
Teacher Ophelius: “Dear One, in answer to the questions asked about the nature of the Universal Father’s personality and whether he is personal or impersonal, and how He relates to human personality, let me define and clarify somewhat, what personality is perceived to be, and what it is not. No being of any order in the universe of universes can fully grasp the true and absolute nature of personality — it is beyond understanding, but for any creature having a god-conscious mind, personality is understood in varying degrees, and most rudimentary, in the fact that to know and love another, there must exist personhood or personality. You can say you ‘love’ a favorite book, a song, or some material comfort, but in reality those are only affectionate reactions to your own personality making a choice to recognize truth, or beauty. Goodness, however, can only be perceived by the relationship of two personalities.
“When we say the Universal Father is both personal and impersonal, what we are discerning is the nature by which He manifests reality and how He chooses to be both present in the minds of his children and present in the creation in which they ‘live, and move, and have their being.’ To the finite mind, there exist a paradox — the Father is both personal and impersonal. You are the farthest from Him who resides at the center of infinity and eternity, and yet closest to Him through his Indwelling Spirit presence in your mind via the divine fragment, the Thought Adjuster (TA).
“The TA must be impersonal with respect to the free will endowment of the creature and the direct experiential relationship with the universal Father. For if the TA had its own personality that would mean it would be something less than the total personality of the Universal Father and therefore could not be a direct indwelling of the Father Himself. Whether you understand this or not, the Universal Father — His personality, is in direct communion with you and your personality and with every other personality in creation. The impersonal aspect of the TA is a functional requirement of deity sovereignty and is pre-personal in that it functions to facilitate a personalized service to bring the creature, of whatever order or state of spiritual maturity, to an increasingly greater state of understanding of the nature and personality of the Universal Father as He exists in his domain of perfection — something you as a human with a finite mind cannot comprehend in your current state of spiritual immaturity.
“It is a fact that no human could stand before the brilliance of the Universal Father in his domain of perfection and live. The gulf between the two natures is existentially incompatible and vibrationally discordant. Therefore does the Universal Father love his children personally and makes a way for them to approach and understand His brilliance and total personality by guiding them (via the pre-personal agency of the TA) to god-like perfection by ‘up-stepping’ the consciousness and vibrational signature of each soul in tolerable increments according to their free will allowance of assimilating the nature and personality of the Universal Father (His Will) as they understand it from their juxtaposition in space and time.
“As you may surmise, there is much, much more to be said about this topic and how it affects your relationship with other human personalities as you mature spiritually. As you relate to one another (person to person), you learn through pattern recognition and evaluation — the disparity between the inherent love of the divine personality present in your mind (Father via TA), with that of the animal nature of humans and their immature understanding of perfect personality. As you work through this in time and in eternity, you begin to see the divinity in every creature — the divine signature reveals itself as you look beyond the imperfections of your fellows (non-personal) and see the brilliance of the Universal Father in every soul.
“Peace to you,
“The Circle of Seven.”

Thought Adjuster.
Subject: “Forgetting the Self”
Received by Oscar.
Thought Adjuster: “By forgetting the self, human beings can function from a higher level. When your actions stop being motivated by your desires for material rewards or glorification, the fruits of the spirit will express themselves freely through you, without doubt or inhibitions of any kind. Ironically, those who learn to forget their selves acquire the potential to become truly noteworthy, because their spirit — their true self — starts to become more visible in their lives.
“The search for glorification can become a hidden agenda. When those mortals who secretly desire to be glorified do something, invariably others will notice a hidden motivation, and suspicion will arise toward them. When someone offers you something that is new for you and you discover that the person is expecting something in return, naturally your doubts arise. On the other hand, when someone offers advice or help and you perceive there is no other intention behind this, it becomes easier for you to follow the advice or to accept the help.
“This is the reason why Jesus had such a great influence over His peers. The total sincerity and purity of His intent was self-evident to those who benefited from His ministrations. When somebody received Jesus’ advise, recommendation, teaching, or even scolding, His words were easier to accept when the person understood without a doubt that the purpose was to do something good for him or her.
“Many of you aspire to achieve this level of purity of intent and it is indeed possible. Cultivate true humility, which is not the false humiliation of the self, but not feeling the need to be exalted. You are a true child of God. What other honor would you rather place upon yourself? What could be greater or better? Those who achieve a true and refreshing forgetting of their selves don’t do it as a sacrifice, but as the result of knowing that the Father presence is within each one of you and this makes you unique and glorious, with the potential for perfection.
“Forgetting your self is not self abandonment, it is rather a higher way to consider your existence and your intrinsic value — a value so evident, it has no need to be recognized. Forgetting the self in reality is to remember what you really are — beings created in the image and likeness of the Creator.”

Teacher: The Beloved.
Subject: “Learn to Uplift Your Heart and Soul.”
Message received by Lytske.
The Beloved: “Allow your heart to overflow with thankfulness to the Giver of life for yet another unwritten page in the book of life as you start a new day where anything can and may happen when you allow Me to share it with you.
Be open to the unexpected and welcome each new day like a young child would, having made no plans, so that there will be different ways to live your day. It may be meeting with someone you have not met before or you may have a chance to lighten someone’s heart with a smile or an encouraging word.
Remember always whose children you are. Ultimately, you are all the offspring of the one Creator, who has empowered you with free will, and given you choices and decisions, so that you can learn along life’s path by choosing wisely.
Of course, you will make mistakes. That is expected, for this is how you learn. No one is born perfect. However, it is the supreme command and the ultimate goal of the ages: ‘Be ye perfect, even as I am perfect.’
Whilst you are born into the life of flesh, you are given every opportunity to make each day a better day. With Me, the divine Spark within, how can you lose?
Of course, you can lose if you never listen to My voice, as I tirelessly labor deep within you, to uplift your thoughts above the humdrum, the meanness, and the sordid business of an earth held within the grip of fear and despondency.
You can learn to uplift your heart, soul and mind, to sense the glories of eternal life awaiting each and every one.
Dare to live in that uplifting hope with the optimism that allows your still Voice to be heard, which for yet another day will lead you towards real life waiting for you in the hereafter.
Allow yourself the precious time to come to Me, so you will increasingly learn to discern My voice.”
