The Beloved: “When you allow yourself the time to come before Me, you need to leave your burden of daily worries behind. You cannot partake fully of My essence when you are bent over through worry.
The whole idea of coming to Me is that you may look up into heaven’s sunshine, so the shadows vanish, burdens are lifted, and you will feel refreshed and nourished after having been in My presence.
Surely, for you to be good at practicing the Stillness, it needs to be a daily discipline. Something as vitally important as this, when persisted with, will yield its own harvest of rewards in truth, beauty and goodness. It is the character which will be chiseled into beauty through the discipline of daily duties performed.
Life is meant to be rugged, for this exercises the faith muscle. It needs to be strong to withstand the rigors of life as it is lived on this planet. And the more willing you are to go with the ebb and flow of the human spirit, and to recognize that most worries are only temporary, the easier it will be for you to rise up and be counted among the stouthearted, who can keep on believing that all is well.
Trust in the heavenly over-care¸ for many there are in the unseen world that cheer you on. There are even those, because they were born perfect, who entertain a slight feeling of envy because they lack that experience of becoming strong in the struggles of daily earth-life.
Mortal life is a gift to be used for upliftment, first for the self, and then for everyone on the planet. The Creator Father wills it so. Run this race set before you, and know that all is well.”

Thought Adjuster: “Dear child, I have so much in store for you today! Are you ready to hear it, smell it, see it, touch it, taste it? What about your inner senses? Will your heart burst with gratitude for all these unexpected happenstances? Will you emit spontaneous thank-you thoughts when a rainbow spans its other-worldly colors over the valley, taking your focus away from the oppressive cloud cover in its bursts of light? Will you zoom in on the harmonics of the songbirds and scan the landscape for their winged presence? Will you eat mindfully to dive deep into your food’s tastebud-appealing flavors, relishing each nutritious bite? Will you stop and notice the scents diffused by the Tradewinds and the all-permeating designer perfume of Mother Spirit — an exquisite blend of honeysuckle, rose, and lily of the valley? Will you close your eyes to enjoy the spell of wind-blown kisses, the savor of plump strawberries or velvety peaches, the comforting touch of a pet's soft fur, or the acapella prowess of a nightingale?
Set such rewarding intentions at the starting gate of your day. Engage in this exciting treasure hunt orchestrated from on high and from within. I am anticipating the telltale signs of your childlike delight! At the closing of your day, when recalling all these thoughtful winks of Spirit, you will also note that time stood still for many sublime moments of heartfelt appreciation because you were swimming in the flow of moment-to-moment awareness — a day lived to the fullest.

Subject: “How to Make the Best of all Situations.”

Sharmon: “Sometimes you cannot change situations — all you can do is deal with them. These situations challenge us to be creative and, as the saying goes, ‘make the best of every situation.’ In doing so, you not only need to adapt your own will to the circumstances but also interact with the wills of others who are already in the process of realization. God, due to His omnipotence, is capable of doing the absolute best in every circumstance, yet always respecting the free will of his creatures. However, lower creatures such as humans, just starting their perfecting career, can only strive for the best and live with it. What does it mean to make the best of each situation?
1. “Look for the Will of God in Any Situation. You can follow the will of God even in the midst of a situation against it. The situation before you could be the result of the choice of another person against the will of God that somehow affects you, but as long as you don’t participate in producing that situation, you can still react to it according to the will of God. To convey the will of God, even to a bad situation, you need to get an insight of the will of God by two ways possible: by following the principles of values of divinity and by following the leading of the Spirit Within. Follow the values of goodness, truth, and beauty and listen to the voice of wisdom of the Spirit Within saying: ‘This is the way’.
2. “Focus on the Well Being of Others Rather than Yours. God the Father is our supreme example of unselfishness. He divested Himself of everything that another being could do and kept for Himself only those prerogatives that would guarantee that those other beings would do exactly these things he bestowed upon them. Following the example of the Father, we keep to us only what is needed to minister goodness, truth, and beauty upon others and so we certainly are doing the best in each circumstance, even if the circumstance is adverse to us in the first place, as Jesus prayed for his executioners: ‘Father, forgive them, because they know not what they do.’
3. “Make of Any Circumstance an Opportunity to be of Service. Many companies, corporations, and businesses in general, have come to the conclusion that a good customer service is key to keep customers coming back for more. Phrases such as ‘How may I help you’ and ‘How may I be of service?’ are essential to good (sincere) customer service. Being available for service and offering your services to whomever needs it, should be our lifestyle to make the best of any situation. In fact, there is no better way to show you care about somebody than to make yourself available for service. Even a potential or actual bad circumstance can become a great opportunity for loving service to others.
“Not all circumstances are bad, so just receive the good ones with a big and sincere ‘Thank You’. For those situations that come to you with malice, or are prone to hurt you, react to them according to the will of God, focusing on the wellbeing of others first, rather than yours, and try to make them an opportunity for service. Your reaction is also part of the situation. Make it count for the showing of the Fatherhood of God and the growing of the Brotherhood of Human Beings on Urantia. I am Sharmon, your Midwayer friend attending your request for this lesson. And by the way, on making the best of everything, don’t forget about being charming — as Jesus was when with us, and still is, in all His dealings.”

Thought Adjuster: “The Father has perfect plans for the lives of each one of His creatures. To the eyes of the world, a certain life may seem more relevant or more important than another. However, many times those who each have consciously consecrated their lives to the Divine Will and achieved a high level of spiritual progress, go unnoticed on the pages of human history. Do not think that just because you are not great from a material point of view, your life is worthless or your efforts to reach perfection are not producing the expected results. Each step that brings you closer to your true essence – to that which the Father desires for you – is a step towards Life and Light, in your world and in the universe.
“The greatest gift a human creature can offer the Father is to seek to know and to do His Will. There is a definite plan for creation and there is a path that leads directly to the greatest success for all involved. When each of you decides to follow this path, you are actively working so that the design of the Gods becomes a reality and for the entire creation to be established in Light and Life. Thus, you are contributing to the actualization of the Supreme Being, the God of time and space, who gains experience through the experiences of all evolutionary beings.
“Therefore, no life can be considered useless or irrelevant. No two human lives are equal in all aspects, and the experiences are mostly subjective, dependent on the perception of the personalities who are involved with them. Each personality has the potential to bring a unique contribution to universal wisdom. What each personality has lived so far has been a unique adventure, an unparalleled aspect of a creature that seeks to find the Father and build an increasingly coherent idea of his or her reality and purpose.
“Your life is a great opportunity to discover other original aspect of divinity. You start without any preconceived idea about the universe, and progressively you shall discover reality and, if you so decide, you start to participate in the expansion of divine ideals when you become a tool for the expression of the Creator. Then, your personal path increasingly aligns itself with the path that the Father has suggested, until the hour in which you come to understand that, in reality, the Father’s Will for your life is the path with the most love and wisdom, which represents the best that can occur and, after all, when your comprehension has been enlightened by higher truths, you shall understand it is the same path that you would have wisely chosen for yourself.”

The Beloved: “It is entirely appropriate for you to claim your status as a child of God even though you are still an embryo in the womb of Mother Spirit. You need to know with all your heart, soul, and mind, that you are a most beloved child in God’s universe.
The Father is no respecter of persons and He accepts each and every one as His own. Your Master Jesus, a Son of God, stated you are sons and daughters of God and joint heirs with Him. So, claim your divine birthright. Claim everything that is true, beautiful and good.
Seek first the Kingdom of God within, and grow an abundant spirit-life filled with spiritual energy and healing. This will make your mortal life so much easier to live. To just live for material things and spare nary a thought for the spiritual is like living a life in poverty, and so unbecoming a child of God.
All His goodness and abundance lie unused and undiscovered within you, and to say the least, your embryonic soul would wither and die for lack of nourishment.
Turn within to that secret chamber of your heart where tranquility reigns and seek converse with Me, so I can feed you the deeper insights and values in truth, beauty, and goodness.
Why limit yourself and become a spiritual beggar who needs to supplicate and seek in order to survive, while the greatest riches within lie undiscovered and die from lack of faith and trust in the heavenly overcare?
A human being is so much more than just flesh and bones, and a mind that remains earthbound and never explores the spiritual universe and its bountiful offerings.
Learn to live in the abundance of the Father’s house, and you will realize that there is no separation between you and God. In fact, there never was. Humankind simply separated itself through erroneous thinking by building up an elaborate system of worship around that mindset.
Know that all is one, and the One is all.”
