Thought Adjuster: “The transformation of a human being from a mortal creature into a perfected being is the result of their own will. The Father cooperates in this transformation while respecting the decisions of each individual. Thus, through the ministry of the Adjuster, you have the opportunity to achieve the goal of the ages, and you will enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that it has been your personal accomplishment—the product of your work and your dedication to living the will of the Father and, of course, your collaboration with your Fragment of God. The perfected being you will become is the first of the wonderful works you will produce in collaboration with your Father in Paradise.
You now understand that this transformation will not be automatic. Although upon awakening in the mansion worlds, many of the things that now concern you so much will no longer be as important, you will nevertheless have to make an effort to overcome your limitations and the character deficiencies you have acquired from the environment in which you lived in the world. All physical things—hunger, physical fatigue, sexual desire—will be left behind once you abandon your mortal body. However, habits such as procrastination, fear of the unknown, low self-esteem, selfishness, and other ‘acquisitions’ of mortal life will still be part of you and will not disappear magically. The only thing of spiritual value that you automatically gain upon awakening in the mansion worlds is the certainty that there is life beyond the material.
Knowing this, far from being a disappointment, should make you feel more empowered and in control of your destiny. The work of overcoming those aspects of your personality that do not contribute to perfection in the mansion worlds—and that have nothing to do with the physical and material—can be started in this world, right now. Even here, while you live your life in the flesh and must necessarily serve two masters—the material and the soul—you can already begin the advanced training in self-mastery that will give you an advantage in the mansion worlds.
And here is the true reward of a life lived for spiritual progress, a life rich in spiritual treasures and rewards. Upon moving to the next worlds after your physical death, you will not be rewarded with eternal rest or with some condition inspired by the materialistic and limited visions of mortal illusions. Your true reward will be greater opportunities to know creation and to understand the Creator. The advantages you will enjoy do not resemble the advantages of the material world; rather, they are the deep satisfaction of opening your eyes to a new life for which you will have prepared yourself, making the transition in an easier and more fruitful way.
The true reward of a spiritual life is to live life as it is lived in the higher worlds, right here on earth. Many who have lived focused on material things have great difficulty adapting to the demands and way of life in the mansion worlds. But those who have cultivated an effective working relationship with the Inner Master simply continue in those more beautiful and peaceful worlds what they began in this world. Those who have emigrated to another country know what I am talking about. Who will succeed more easily? The one who masters the language and customs of their new country? Or the one who knows nothing about life in the place to which they have decided to emigrate? Often, the gap created by the advantages enjoyed by those who learned the language and customs of the place they moved to is never fully overcome by those who arrived under less favorable conditions. Make sure to begin preparing today for the journey to the higher worlds.”
