Thought Adjuster: “There are so many things in the universe that you do not understand, and things you do not even suspect exist. On this very planet, in the future, there will be things that today you cannot imagine to be possible. Consider how different the world would seem to someone from the Middle Ages, born before the invention of the printing press.
Human exploration through the ages — from the material to the eternal and beyond into the eternity of loving service to creation, and into ever higher discovery and understanding of God — is, in the end, the exploration of life itself: relating to other intelligent living beings, whether human or divine, creators or creatures. Life seeks to relate to life, and isolation is therefore equivalent to death.
For this reason, the experiences of eternal value for a human being are always based on relationships with other personalities — whether with other human beings, celestial teachers, spiritual influences, or the very presence of God, as represented by the Thought Adjuster. This offers another clue about where to focus our attention if we wish to cultivate experiences that leave us with meanings and values that transcend death: we must relate to our brothers and sisters in this world, for they are the personalities closest to us.
Yet, no personality or being is closer to a human being than his Thought Adjuster, who is God living in man and with man, living his experiences and experiencing everything we experience. The Adjuster is the Father, bestowing His being to accompany us on our journey, serving as a companion in adventure and as a guide. It is up to us to cultivate that personal relationship with the Inner Pilot in order to obtain the greatest benefits — a life lived to the fullest and supreme happiness — as we discover our path toward perfection and toward our home in eternity.”
