“Spiritual growth is first an awakening to needs, next a discernment of meanings, and then a discovery of values.” [Urantia Papers 1095:06].
Thought Adjuster: “You are asking about the differences or similarities between meanings, significations, and values. This is indeed a ‘significant’ matter to ponder, which ‘means’ that it is ‘worthwhile’ and ‘valuable.’ As you can gather from the natural flow of that explanatory sentence, these three attributes are tightly connected.
“Whenever a question is asked, it has to do with the ‘meaning’ of something one wishes to understand. This is what differentiates humans from animals who live instinctively on the material level of their being. You, however, are spiritual beings, coached by your physical life to develop the invisible and yet very real layers of your being — those which are part of your eternal personality.
“Understanding is a human ‘need’ and ‘necessity.’ Without gaining in understanding, you are deaf and blind to the many ‘realities’ you have been created to explore in your evolution. Mother Spirit gifted you with the spiritual influence of the Adjutant Mind Spirit of Understanding — among others.
“You are asking questions pertaining to meanings. As you discover meanings pertaining to the many mysteries you are dealing with in your life, starting with the primal questions of ‘Who am I?’ and ‘What is the purpose of my life,’ you are obtaining answers that ‘significantly’ affect the way you lead your life. This is part of your personal ‘enlightenment’ process.
“As you put these meanings to good use — rather than mainly storing them in your mental vault — the content of your life is becoming ‘valuable.’ Indeed, intelligence in active collaboration with the heart yields the precious fruits of the spirit. I would add that in order for any action to be ‘significant,’ it has to be love-infused — thus giving a positive ‘meaning’ to the action — consecrating it. Indeed, its intent is what determines the true value of an action — its weight in gold or its weight in dirt.”

No matter what the question is, the answer is always Love.
