Teacher: “You have asked about certain teachings that have become stumbling blocks for many individuals. I am here to answer your inquiry now.

“The people that come to your very-much-loved 11:11 message board come from widely varied backgrounds and teachings. Most have been drawn there because of the Midwayers’ promptings. As each one of you begins to learn, you are all faced with choices of acceptance, or non-acceptance of the teachings encountered, and the changes that these teachings bring about.

“The ‘laying down’ of old modes and erroneous concepts do not happen overnight, especially not when full trust has been poured into these concepts. All arrivals will be challenged by their old teachings that seem to do battle in their thoughts about those things that are conceptually new. There is often quite a struggle, and some will turn aside for a while, because of fear. It is Spirit which attests to that, which is true, and the ones who sincerely do want the Light will recognize this fact.

“Many false teachings have been ‘very forcibly driven into you.’ We, your Celestial Teachers, do not teach through fear or force, but people often do. The central point of your questioning; how to speak to those deeply entrenched in the doctrine of the rapture is one of the concepts driven home with immense force.

“You know what the Urantia book teaches. In the case of a physical catastrophe that puts a planet of an evolving race into a position of doom, the Melchizedeks and the Life Carriers install the technique of dematerialization for all survivors, and by seraphic transport these survivors would be carried away to the world prepared for their continued existence.

“Guide those who would question, and who are still fearful, to this information. If, for any reason something were to come about resembling what has just been described, it would in no way mean the failure of the Correcting Time, or our mission to teach you. It would also not mean that Urantia would be destroyed forever. She would not be, but She will see the fullness of Light and Life, which would only be delayed for a spell.”
