Ambrose: “Greetings students. Let us turn our minds and hearts today to looking at our own thoughts and words to see if they are promoting peace, harmony, and good will among our brethren, among our families.

“There is a saying in this world that says the pen is mightier than the sword. I would like to change that slightly to reflect the power of the mind as well. There is nothing so strong and able to change the world as our thoughts and spoken words.

“This is a power untapped, yet one that contains within it both the best and the worst of humanity at any given time. Begin to recognize dear students that your words and thoughts have within them the seeds of great potential. How you direct this inherent power will dictate the fragrance of your life? Will it promote truth, beauty, and goodness, or will it promote disharmony, pain, and sorrow?

“Think about this dear ones, as you go about your day, knowing the choice is always yours to make, again and again, and that once made, is not irrevocable You have but to change your mind to change your direction. Shalom.”
