Need and Requirement. |
Cheshire, UK, November 22, 2004. Teacher Armesh. Received by Helen Whitworth. Armesh: We talk to you today of the difference between Need and Requirement. Need is a state of attachment to other. When you say I need this article, I need this person, I need to experience a particular situation, then you are implying want and must. There is nothing in this life you need. All your requirements are taken care of by Spirit, however mundane these may seem. Through your own manifestation within the physical world you create the reality in which you live and in which you work with others. When you are truly in flow with your Highest Self, with your God Fragment, then the word need disappears from your vocabulary. This is not to say there are not requirements for your lessons; for your growth, and for your physical, emotional and spiritual comfort. A requirement is not the same as needing. A requirement is a statement of concept. I require comfortable living. Needing comfortable living is a different thing. You may choose comfortable living, but to need it ties you within a bind, and focuses on lack. Flexibility is the way you should always move through your life, so you may have requirements which help set up towards the next point on your path, and there is nothing wrong with asking for such assistance, but when it becomes a need it becomes a dependency, and then you lose your own sense of mastery and your own sense of the Divine, which when allowed, will create everything for you that you truly require.
