Ophelius: "Greetings to you all in this new year. The Circle
sends glad tidings to all who are on the path to perfection -- may the
love of Father move in you and through you. Let the peace of understanding
pervade your soul and the reassurance of eternal survival and service
unto Him, the creator of all, rest easy on your mind, you, the children
of the most high God.
"As is customary with many of you to declare resolutions for a
new year, let your resolutions and goals be of new and great enthusiasm
to excel and succeed in whatever it is that moves you to action. Be
conscious of the growing soul this year and make new effort to achieve
stillness and contact with your Indwelling Adjuster, your guides, and
your teachers. Your devotion to meditation will benefit you greatly
as well as your efforts to heal and pray for others. Project the image
of your new determination for spiritual improvement into the future
as a known fact, and accept that on this day you have become what you
have declared -- so live it!
"Rejoice my beloved friends, for as you live and breathe on the
earth you have the time to achieve great progress in your short but
eventful lives -- take every opportunity to improve and perfect your
minds in this new year. If you feel overwhelmed, pick but two things:
one area to improve upon, and one vice to relinquish, and then make
it so. As you conquer the small things, then will you go on to conquer
greater things. These are the steps of soul evolution. Be conscious
of your achievements, but be selfless in your humility. Seek balance
and moderation in all things.
"Many of you will commit to improving your fitness and well being
this year. It is so very important to take care of your physical bodies,
for wellness effects many aspects of your spiritual fitness and self
esteem. Those that have illness or physical handicaps can compensate
by flexing their spiritual muscles and by projecting positive energy
in their circles. All, no matter what your status or circumstance, can
improve and progress. Stay away from negative energy, for it clouds
your perception of reality.
"Declare freedom from religious bondage and guilt, for the Father's
love for you is unwavering and unending. Do as you are moved by spirit
and be an instrument of His will. There is no ceremony or ritual that
can improve your standing, only your willingness to love and be loved."
Prayer: "Father, I ask that you send out your greatest of
blessings to these ones, these children on the path and their families.
For they are eager to do your will on the earth and are thirsty for
truth, beauty, and goodness. See that they are protected from harm and
are shielded from want. Let your love and providence abound in their
lives. Give them the strength of mind and will of spirit to overcome
all adversity and temptation against those things that would separate
them from your unwavering love. Send them guidance and wise council
through the agency of your ministering spirits and open their ears,
their hearts, and their minds to all the whispers of your intentions
for their lives. Sanctify these, your faithful servants, and remember
them in the worlds to come as they receive just compensation and reward
for being the representatives of light on the earth. Amen.
