Clearing Up a Misunderstanding.

Bzutu: "I greet you, my dear co-worker. This is a personal message, but you may well share it, if you so wish. It is also to my personal benefit that we, at last, clear up a misunderstanding between us that for long has left you with ambiguous feelings about our work of the past. Firstly, we had no way of projecting your actions in the field of further psychology studies, and in particular the effort towards additional clinical hypnotherapy lectures at that busy time (1972).

"Sheer logic told us it would be too much for you at the time we suggested it as a worthwhile move for you to make. At some future time, yes, and in all fairness you must question how close you came to dropping all the courses because of sheer exhaustion. However, the point I now make is that there is a great difference between our using a medium - which you surely were - in difficult healing exercises, and a 'so-called medium' in spiritualism that endeavors to 'awaken the dead.'

"We have nothing to do with the latter, because it is forbidden for us to be involved in such objectionable exercises of treating matters even vaguely spiritual as worthy of entertainment. Conversely, we were, and still are, admonished to do everything in our power to assist you in your ventures of solving the hard-to-untangle cases, by both our Master and by Machiventa, with the absolute 'be it so' from your willing Thought Adjuster, who knows of all your future.

"Let us herewith put to rest all aspects of past discord regarding this matter, for the misunderstandings we had originated in your interpretation of the, to you, unclear text. This is ABC-22 signing off."

Receiver's Notes: The Urantia Book text states: . . . it should be made clear that the midway creatures are not involved in the sordid performances taking place under the general designation of "spiritualism." The midwayers at present on Urantia, all of whom are of honorable standing, are not connected with the phenomena of so-called "mediumship" . . .

I was used as a medium from about 1972 onwards. Found a pre-loved copy of the Urantia Book many years later, and sharply questioned the Midwayers about inappropriate behavior on their parts. This, at last, fully clears things up. In 1972 improving my contact with the Midwayers was for a time set aside, and priority was given to psych lectures and hypnotherapy instructions.
