Question: “What do I need to improve my spiritual receptivity?”
Thought Adjuster: “You must put aside all expectations.
You don’t know what will happen, so it would be best not to expect
anything. Trying to adjust your experiences to your pre-conceived ideas
may only lead to confusion. Right now you are receiving. It is a co-creative
process where ideas from ‘above’ are interpreted in the light
of your experiences, and expressed in your words.
“Writing down the ideas as they come has worth. A lot of information
can be transmitted in this way. However, there are more efficient ways.
For your personal development it is better to keep practicing stillness,
where ideas and concepts can be transmitted from mind to mind, without
the need of interpretation. Feelings do not fit on paper, but writing
still has a lot of worth. You have already used this resource to help
others, and you can keep doing it.
“How much do you want to advance? That depends on you. As long
as you learn to listen to the internal Guide, and follow His inspiration
a lot can be achieved. He has the scheme and the plans for the best
life you can live. If you follow the inspiration of your heart, you
will get close to the original plans for you. The Father’s presence
knows what you need, and knows your potentials better than you do. You
can go very far by following the suggestions from inside. The curriculum
is simple. Learn to listen to you inner Voice, and remove everything
that is preventing this communication. Nothing will be denied. Open
your door and I will go inside, turning your home into a brilliant palace.
Let me work for you. So far my work has been at the unconscious level,
and look how far you have come.
“You are always asking yourself how you ended up being like you
are, in spite of the less than ideal conditions in which you grew up.
You have perceived that a lot of things needed to be improved upon,
and you have done that. You know your errors and limitations. They are
normal, and even natural, but now you know you can do better. Set your
mind in order. Give me the initiative and together we will turn that
‘animal mind’ into something more dignified. Your mind has
served you well so far, but as the world is being shaken to accept the
changes and improvements of a new era, and your mind should do the same.
The old paradigms will not work with the new ways of thinking. The process
will take some time, depending on how much you resist it. It will not
be easy. There are some ideas that are very dear to you that must be
let go of. You will know which ones they are. The hard part is not finding
what should change, and what should be removed. The problem, the difficulty,
and the delays come from resisting the change, doubts, fears. Learn
to trust this process, and once a habit, and an idea, do not make sense
anymore, let them go without ceremony. Think of them as steps on the
ladder that helped you ascend, but they are no longer needed.
“Remember that you feel the need to get in touch with the Spirit
world. You have a hunger for improving yourself, and you are feeling
the need to be of service to your brothers and sisters. Do I need to
say wherefrom these impulses come? Accept them, go with the flow, and
I will put everything in place for your abilities to be employed, as
they are employed now. Do you realize that you are here because of a
response to your desires? Somehow you have listened, and you are beginning
to understand that when you do listen to Me, a true happiness grows
in you. This is how this road is traveled. If you keep following this
road your trust in Me will grow. We are one, even when you need to speak
to Me in the second person. Some day (and it is already so) you will
not know if your thoughts are yours or Mine, because our minds will
be one, and what a great mind it will be!”
