ABC-22: “The lowest level of the morontia mind is already
part of your mind. You only need to learn how to use it. The wishes
of the soul are always recognized by the Father, and always satisfied.
Maybe this won’t happen the way you would expect, but they are.
“Many things are possible with the use of the first level of the
morontia mind. You only need to explore and discover. Be aware that
there are a lot of abilities that remain unexplored and unused in your
mortal mind. If you could see all the things you might achieve with
your mortal mind, you would think these to be morontial abilities.”
Receiver: “What is the usefulness in having morontial abilities,
if it seems that our mortal mind could provide everything we need?”
ABC-22: “Precisely. The mortal mind is everything the mortals
need to reach their maximum potential. The morontia mind is given to
those with an intense desire to make contact with the spiritual world,
and being able to be of service in many additional ways. Receiving morontia
attibutes will not make you better or worse than any of your brothers
or sisters. It is simply something extra that is given to you beforehand,
so you can accomplish the desires of your heart.
“You have to start exploring what you have received, so you can
learn how to take advantage of the new possibilities. The way is through
self-mastery, discipline and, above all, patience. Don’t try to
anticipate what will happen. Open your mind, explore, use your sense
of adventure and experiment. With patience, practice and faith, things
will become clearer.”
