The Damascus Scribe.

The Scribe: “This is the Damascus Scribe. I am Sananda.
I am the Thought Adjuster who in-dwelt the Teacher, Machiventa Melchizedek,
in his time on earth during Abraham’s life. I am the Thought Adjuster
who subsequently indwelled the Man of God, Jesus the Christ. By my age-long
forays into the time/space worlds, I have been gifted a personality
endowment, entirely my own.
“Amongst the many ‘Bosses’ you both now have, one might
say, I am near the top, whilst it is also true that you remain your
own boss by virtue of your freewill prerogatives. It is a pleasure to
visit you in your home; to be with you in close liaison once again.
I speak with you today not about ‘for what we are about to receive,’
which is a common mention (prayer) after you have surveyed the food
on your plate. I am here to discuss with you the ‘for what we have
already received’ – great talents and valuable directions.
Think of the Universe Sons, the Michaels, and the incredible all-round
talent they are endowed with to produce, and rule, their universes.
Think of those you know only so well; the Melchizedeks, their incredible
mind endowments, talents, motivation to help Urantia achieve Light and
Life. Think of the Life Carriers, and their vast knowledge, and think
of your Midwayer Friends, and how they work hard almost twenty-four-seven
to do the Father’s work.
“From the top down, an incredible effort is expended -- at least
in the case of these here-mentioned creatures of God -- to edge you
humans Paradise-ward. Indeed, they are not all equal, my friends. It
is in direct relationship to the talents they received, and opportunities
presented to them, that effort and achievement is requested of them.
And so it is with you humans, individually so: Of those of you who are
greatly gifted, and aware of your talents, much is expected, oh yes,
demanded, in fact. Of those of you who are still unaware of your many
talents, or who are perhaps not so generously endowed, still much is
asked. Intent, trust, faithfulness, and truthfulness are the main criteria
by which you are judged, eventually, and almost exclusively by the ‘boss’
that is the self.
“In the end analysis, your achievements on this earth will constitute
for you the sum total of your being as you depart from this earth. It
is for all of you, too, to accept those around you for what they are
achieving to their capacity. It is up to you to help those along that
are perhaps at a stalemate, unaware of their capacities, their directions,
yes, the path that they must take, for what are in their human lives
the most important requirements for eternal being.
“Do call on me regularly. Do call on me as often as you can. I
will always have a lesson for you. This is Sananda.”
