to think about getting rid of some useless mental clutter.
“Periodically you clean out the garage or the attic in your homes.
Could it be that you have stored some useless prejudices or resentments
in your mental closets?
“The beauty of a little mental house cleaning is that it leaves
room for an onslaught of child like wonder. Yes, you can create space
for enlightenment. You will never receive enlightenment in the chaos
of mental clutter.
“And in the release of your resentments against a brother or sister
caught in your hapless clutter, could you not then fully fathom the
goodness of your restored kinfolk?
“The de-cluttering of your mind is your responsibility. Remove
the clutter and unearth the Divinity that remains.”
