A Lesson on Eternity.

I desire to speak a few words on eternity as this subject is as mysterious as it is deep and wide. Besides, not many on your planet seem to think very deeply about eternity as they get ‘hung up’ on a few words, which materialized in someone else’s mind, rather than their ‘going within,’ and finding truth for themselves. Some would say that it is dangerous to listen to the musings of your own mind, because it is impure and therefore incapable of right thinking, and to leave all that to the so-called educated people like the ministers, priests and rabbis, in short, the leaders of the churches. However, I tell you right now that truth is often revealed to little children, as they still have a clean past, and listen in the purity of their hearts. Adults have their own preconceived opinions and colorations as to what eternity should be like.

There is talk about hell and purgatory, but these are human imaginings, and what a mind conceives can become real to that person, who may now be in danger of accepting as gospel the musings of another. Most belief systems have their beginnings in the human mind, but that is not to say that this is the right way of thinking for everyone else. As a man/woman thinketh, that he/she is, and becomes. You create your own heaven or hell right here, in your way of thinking, and this way of thinking colors your idea of heaven or hell. Take stock of your thoughts and then go within and ask your Indweller to feed you some truth thoughts. You will never be given more to think than you are willing to consider, and no more shall be given to you, unless you are willing to ask and accept.

It is given to those dreamers, who dare to think outside the box, and who become the inventers and the movers and the shakers on the planet, albeit their names may never reach the news media. It is given to those, who dare to bring progress according the will of God, because of their inner listening skills and their acting on this in loving service towards others. Then there are those, who do not believe in eternity and think themselves invincible, and live only for themselves. And when they think that someone is threatening their very existence, because of new inventions which will benefit all of humanity, they will do their utmost to either block those inventions meant for progress, or use these inventions for their own nefarious benefit. Now you begin to wonder what all this has to do with eternity. Well, My child, everything. How you comport yourself in this life, has its repercussions in eternity.

This life is the foundation life of your life in eternity. Although you will have extended vision and a larger capacity for understanding, it is your character traits, which you develop here in the mortal estate, along with the self-discipline towards mastery and perfection, which shall propel you forward to the next stage of existence, where new adventures and choices await your decision making ability. Do not limit yourself in thinking that you will be made perfect in the blink of an eye. This simply is not so. There is a vast void to be traversed which is called the Morontia life. This state intervenes between the mortal and the spiritual state of being. You start out here in mortal life as a spiritual embryo-soul, and giving this soul a chance to grow by your own choice and decision process. After you have traversed life in the morontia form, you are then qualified as young beginning spirits to journey into the universes beyond the universe of your birth, on your way to the Eternal Father on Paradise.
