A Lesson on Gratefulness.

Today the lesson will be on gratefulness, as this has already been prepared in your deep mind. Each one can pray to be prepared in the deep mind. Here the connections and corrections take place, which will be beneficial to a favorable and satisfying outcome at the end of your mortal existence. By sponsoring these connections and corrections, you will be able to look back on a life well lived to the Glory of the One, for is that not the culmination of how you desire to live your life? If it is not, ask yourself, ‘What do I expect from life? Why was I born? What is my function here, and what is it I am to do? Is it only to satisfy myself, or is there a greater purpose to life?’

These are all deep questions each and everyone needs to answer for themselves, for herein lies the decision making process, because of the many choices available to you, even though these choices do not always seem to be apparent. This is shown by the vast number of people who do not have a goal in life. Especially when you feel to be at ‘loose ends,’ it would be expedient on your part to start thinking a little deeper, and not ‘hang onto the surface of life,’ as circumstances will control you, rather than you being in control.

There is much to be said about goal setting at an early age, for then you develop a rudder, which helps to guide you to what it is that you desire out of life. When an important decision is made that will benefit mankind, all of the celestial world rally to co-operate with you. And although they do not make your life easy, they will help create the circumstances for the enfoldment of the dreams you hold in your heart, all the while giving you a chance to increase your gratefulness towards the Controller and Upholder of the universes. It is in looking back over life, it is in the lessons learned, and in the understanding and wisdom gained, that your heart will burst into song, because of all the help you received, and all the grace and mercy you have experienced.

You notice that this is gratefulness of the highest caliber, because you will have entered that special time in bonding with your God within, so that nothing can shake you loose from the moorings of your faith. It is the steady moving forward in trust, moment by moment, when no matter what will befall you in the form of calamity, you know yourself to be safe in the citadel of your soul, and therefore you do not have to go through tremendous emotional upheavals to sort out the why’s and the wherefores in life. Blessed indeed are the souls who make the effort to spent time in the Stillness of their hearts, to enjoy that indescribable peace and love, which will surely become part of their lives. This is the great reward for those who seek, for they shall surely find, and will therefore be forever in a state of gratefulness.
